It’s not a matter of me knowing what your talking about, it’s a matter of you knowing what your talking about. Youve became delusional. On one post you will state I better not vote to bring out a t/a because we don’t have the numbers and it will pass without our insurance. And then just a few post later, you state we have no way of stopping it. I don’t even believe you know what you post anymore.
Has anyone thought of the IAM guys keeping their medical plan for at least the length of the contract ? As a LAA member I do not have a problem with that because everyone needs to understand that AA still needs to keep the TWU pension plan funded for many years to come, and that is money from the new AA & the IAM guys see zero benefit from that spending. Just a thought

Our LAA Pensions were part of a prior responsibility that the old Management teams chose to shirk.

Besides Chil we have a lot of very very jealous people working with us. How do you think they would feel about what you’re supposing?

Me personally I would have zero problem at all with the idea but still want at the very least a cap on our costs for the life of the Contract then too.

All LAA guys I've talked to thought the LUS guys would keep their health plan another 2 years with what has been proposed. I have no idea if that is true or not.Lots of misconceptions about things and no information out there other than the companies cherry picked statements. No LAA people have complained if LUS got that deal. The 2 sides better start to really bargain with each other. The lack of movement makes it look like both sides need to take a totally new attitude into things. Wouldn't blame the AMT's for trying to get out of this arrangement any way they could.

The Company in their first video said 2020 as far as Medical. So that basically implied they would get one more year 2019 at their current rates.

Personally I think it’s kind of NUTS for the Company to go around and have Roadshows in IAM Cities trying to sell those Members that it’s a good deal to give up their Medical and costs to come over to what we’re currently stuck with.

Very Weird.

The share of Fortune’s best companies that still pay for 100% of employee’s healthcare has dropped to 9% this year from a peak of 34% in 2001. (Read: These 9 Companies Offer 100% Healthcare Coverage) That big drop represents a broader workplace trend — employees are covering more of their health insurance premiums than in previous years. Workers with employer-sponsored health plans now contribute an average of 18% of the premium for single coverage and 29% of the premium for family coverage, according to a study by the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation.

Ok so according to this article the average Company Healthcare subsidy for a single is 18% of the Premium and yet under LAA thanks to the BK I’m paying what they claim is 21% of the cost.

Families also supposedly pay 21% and the average is 29% so that certainly sounds like a bargain.

What I would like to know from either CB, P. Rez, NYer (Known Leaders here) and Racer X or (Haven’t seen him in a while) RealityCk (Suspected Leaders to me) do you guys receive any of the Financial disclosures from the Company that state what they paid out in Medical expenditures for the prior year so we know that what they claim is our portion (Percentage) for the following year is a legitimate disclosure?

In other words in both the IAM and the TWU who guards the Henhouse? Who watches that the Company isn’t skimming anything off the top?

You are WRONG only the perception of truth "wins out" within each individuals cognitive reasoning. Religion is the perfect example-- to a Hindu or a Muslim, their religious beliefs are the absolute truth, and those that don't believe as them, do not know the truth.

Flip the coin to a Christian, and suddenly those groups are WRONG, and Christianity is the actual TRUTH!

Now, you tell me whom is observing the correct "real" truth?

Well... I suppose one could be paid to use a smart phone at work, just as well as anywhere else...

>SPIT<
your hate never ceases to amaze me. Most claim that you are 700 and I presume you are because 700 can't stay away. Only more hate towards Christians is your hate towards Republicans. Knock your socks off against Republicans or Independents like Trump, but over the years I have confirmed that you are anti-worker. Your agenda is pro Labor Organization and left wing madness, even if that means knifing workers and hammering them and their pensions. Sad

I'm sorry but what do those 50 employee companies have to do with Major Airlines? See, this is the problem. You and your handlers have no concept of what context we are negotiating in.

In truncated mode, here is the context. Parker is smply asking CB and Sito to approve the same health care they approved over at United. If you are Parker, why would you ask for less when these two hooodlums already knifed their members with 400% health care increases. At the time, CB hammered me as he said United had nothing to do with American. Unfortunately, he didn't listen when I tried to explain why I was campaigning against his mid term bonus at United and his 400% health care increases there. I tried to tell him that this industry is tied together and his ineptness at United would cost us plenty here. Unfortuantely, he just don't listen and we are in this unfortunate predicament awaiting a complete disaster.

The company will have many of its own entourage at the meetings. While I don't think many Fleet will show up, the company will have plenty of others (their stooges) there to ask questions. It's all about the video and presenting its offer. If it didn't think Sito would allow their offer to be presented, it wouldn't bother. Sito was briefed about the circumstances which will change if he allows this to go past September. I don't believe the company is preparing to wait till late May for the ballot count.

IMO, there will be pain if Sito waits until after the May ballot count. To be sure, I support that and I accept that there is always sacrifice if one doesn't roll over, but at the same time, many of NYer's comments will come back to haunt us. Be Watchful my son.

lol. Of course. He has no faith at all which is always interesting to me. His emptiness is on display.
