BTW, I really like Jimmy Tonya dude. But he was one of about 25 in my group that wanted me booted off of brother Duffy's site because they didn't support my views against this miserable union.
OTOH, my page is uncensored and that is why it is the largest. It supports all views and is 'clear thinking'. It's rules of common decency are only at play insomuch that personal shots and crude language are grounds for the cornfield. Jimmy took personal unprovoked shots at me as well as some guy named Santos. They join the roughly 3 dozen posters of ill repute in the metaphorical cornfield. Out of 5,800, less than 1/2 of 1% manage to get themselves sent to the cornfield. Jimmy disagreed with me all of the time, and was fine, but his latest outburst with personal shots simply was a breach of the longtime rules.

Everyone knows how you begged for Members from other pages and encouraged and thanked those who collected more for you.

Besides that most pay no attention to your page from what I’ve been told.

Yes tomorrow the 12th the contract becomes amendable. No need to worry or get a JCBA in place. The TWU and company agreed that our contract automatically renews itself every September 12th or until a new one is negotiated. That's how it's written in our agreement. This gives the company plenty of time to work out all the details of outsourcing our work to South America and Mexico. Then as time goes on they will work on Envoy moving into more areas of TWU work. They successfully removed AA cabin service in the BK and farmed it out. The ball started to roll down the road of outsourcing. ENVOY is our real enemy. If any work can not be outsourced across the borders then they will try to do it on the cheap. ENVOY is the answer to AA's high labor costs. No one is immune to it. Aircraft maintenance, facilities maintenance and fleet service. Passenger service is next when they get into negotiations. I see it face to face day in and day out. I have lengthy conversations with pilots about ENVOY and the flights we lost.

Why do you people ALWAYS make claims but then never post the language or proof to back it up?

it simply doesnt matter. Union is out of steam. Zero leverage other than tossing lus health to the fire. Already gave up everything else the company wants.
Here is to 4 more years of insanity where we will get less than whats offered today. If the economy does cool off then the company will pull all of the small stations off the table and take catering back off. Might go from 40 down to 19 or 20 stations. Whats the union going to do, say no for 20 more years?

I can assure you that if it goes to section 6, the company will pull all small stations and catering, especially in an economic downturn as all the leftards are proclaiming.

As I see it. Contracts under the RLA don’t expire they only become amendable. That seems to me (guessing) like some added language for insurance purposes? I mean it’s not precluding or preventing you from filing Section 6 and continuing to work towards a JCBA?

I’m actually not really sure if that language provents the NMB from releasing you to engage in self help? (It does appear so)

But that also would prevent the Company from replacing any of you either.

Tim worked for the IAM at one time and im assumiing still has friends there.Hes been spot on before so...he also puts a disclaimer in so believe what you want.I had a guy from the IAM official who was negotiating a contract for a contract company tell me they would have our contract done before thanksgiving 2016.It is what it is but you have to admit it looks like it's going to be long and drawn out

Ok 1AA I looked at the TWU Fleet Contract, the APFA Contract and the CWA Contract and they ALL have that same renewal language.

I did not find that language in the IAM Contracts for Fleet or Maintenance or in either of the TWU Contracts over at SWA.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that language also exists in the APA Contract?
