Yes it’s fleet service people like you that give fleet service a bad name. Let’s see on here just as a example with people like Tim and Kev New Yorker al antook etc before you ran newyorker away like you have other civilized posters. We have civil conversation no prima Donna talk at all .you come on here badmouthing mechanics on here so yea we’re going to have a proplom with that. Again why are you so concerned what us amts do. And why are you concerned. With ups and swa contracts. There members got to vote and they voted those down. If we had voted the contract down where we had to pay for insurance and retirement medical we might be in better shape today. Once you give things up it’s nearly impossible to get back. So this contract ups mechanics would have to pay 400 for medical well in the next contract talks ups is going to want them to pay more. And yes swa mechanics deserve more then they were offered after 6 years of no raises they do deserve more. Why don’t you worry about your own group . Most mechanics own here aren’t getting in fleets business about what you should vote for are not vote for. And I know you have gone to the pilots thread and bad mouth them also just like 700 did. I go there to read what there issues are but stay out of there business. But thanks to the association you love so much. I bet we wind up like the east and west pilots . Where the twu side will stay on the bk contract and the iam stays on there’s for years to come. How could it not when the 2 head honchos on the association both have to sign to get a ta to the members as long as the iam and twu are not getting what they want we will be in limbo for years. I bet you give mechanics hell there in mia . So why don’t you mind your own business and stay out of ours. And that a&p school I went to cost way more then what you said. And we all tested to get our license. So when’s the last time you took legal responsibility for 300 people riding on a 777 going across the pond . If you think it’s so cheap and easy why don’t you go get your license. And become a amt since your so obsessed with us it borders on scary like a stalker . You know weas how do you get a long with the people you work with because if anyone disagrees with you you get rude nasty condescending and just plain hateful . And to the civil fleet service folks on here I know in maintenance we have a few like the weas here that gives mechanics a bad name. All departments have them. But on here weas just keeps going about amts so we have to defend ourselves. And I’m sure my spelling and grammar is not right for you but I think you can understand what I’m saying. It seems when you have no answer to people comments you disagree with you do a lot of childish name calling . So I beat you to it.
Is that the short version?

Health benefits experts say they see few signs that these rising deductibles will level off anytime soon for employer-sponsored benefits.

"At some point they have to come down to Earth, we just don't know what point that is," said Matthew Rae, a Kaiser senior health policy analyst.

Employer-sponsored coverage is the most common form of health insurance in the United States, covering about 152 million people, according to Kaiser.

The nonprofit found that the annual cost or premium for family coverage rose 5 percent this year to $19,616, on average, while single coverage premiums climbed 3 percent to $6,896. That continued a trend toward moderate increases over the past several years.

Employers pick up most of those costs, but they also have been asking workers and their family members to pay more for care before that coverage starts.

A total of 85 percent of workers with single coverage have a general deductible, up from 81 percent last year and 59 percent in 2008. That doesn't count separate deductibles for things like prescription drugs.

The average deductible for single coverage climbed slightly this year to $1,573 compared to $1,505 last year. But that amount has more than doubled since 2008.

Deductibles for family coverage are more complex and harder to track, but Kaiser has seen steady growth in them as well.

Employers continue to raise deductibles on their health plans in part because they encourage those who use care to consider prices or even rethink whether they need the care since they are paying more of the upfront cost, said Paul Fronstin, an economist with the nonprofit Employee Benefit Research Institute.

He said it is also simpler for companies to increase deductibles instead of making more complex changes like adjusting the network of care providers covered under their plan to save money.

No to be fair your English grammar skills have dramatically improved over the years and you deserve to be both commended and applauded for the hard work you obviously put in to improve your skills.

Now we have to work on Paragraphs which is also a serious problem swamp has too.

Think of a paragraph in the same way as a pause when an individual is speaking. The person needs to pause to breath and the individual listening needs the pause to absorb the information given.

Conehead maybe you should cut and paste what he thinks about maintenance on a few other maintenance pages on the web.
Be sure to quote the cottect sources though.

I’m sorry it’s just that my thick skull can’t seem to grasp how truly special you AMT’s must be. Obviously you know your worth more than the Market and these Companies you keep continuing to spurn year after year, decade after decade.

I never realized that taking High School Shop (Aviation High) or going to a rinky dink Trade School paying between $6000 and $12,000 to get your A&P means you all should make more than Teachers, Nurses and even some Doctors and Lawyers.

I know, I know. You should get the same thing as Pilots. Yes I’ve read you guys say that before.

(Hey Association please don’t be an Ass and for Gods sake separate us from these clowns ASAP PLEASE. Please save us from their insanity)

Prima-donnas.
WeAAz, with this post, it seems there is only one ASS and clown proving your point.
It is very obvious you have issues with mechanics and/or those who bash your work group.
To be totally honest here, you do more bashing and belittling of mechanics than mechanics bashing you and your work group.
You could have gone to the same rinky dink trade school or Aviation high school. You chose your path, others chose theirs. And you could have gone to a few weeks' dispatcher's course and be making more than all of us.
You do realize, YOU make more than some teachers and nurses and even pilots. Especially those at smaller regional carriers.

I really expect at the end of the day, you would rise about the trash talk.

Weez is good for entertainment and his videos are pretty cool but he has no credibility or respect so it's really no big deal. They isolated him at MIA and nobody talks to him. He does talk to Mr Baskett and other anti unionist like Lehive but that's regarding FLL.

Were you born stupid and ignorant or is that a special talent you've developed over the years at your distinguished career at american airlines?

Yes, WeAAz, I saw it. But instead of a direct response towards him and his insult, you go off on "YOU" mechanics. That is a very broad brush to paint with.
I understand the need to defend yourself, but dragging the whole lot of us in a single group bashing doesn't really get your defence across.

So I have to wonder who will win the prize for the longest amount of years to actually vote on and “accept” a deal from their Companies?

Leading the pack we have SWA AMFA at 6 years, then we have UPS IBT at 5 years and bringing up the rear but could be looking to make a sprint to join them AA TWU/ IAM Association coming up on 3 years.

Congratulations to the UAL IAM AMT’s who just “may” have been the smartest of the bunch to drop out of the race.

Alright I apologize on that but the truth is after those last two AMT votes I’m really not sure I enjoy the idea of us being attached to each other’s hips that much. You have to admit that AMT’s have much more of a history of radical thinking, voting and actions than Fleet does. And like it or not we are attached to each other both going in and coming out.

And this has nothing to do with the Leadership (President’s) at the table who have been nothing but supportive of their Fleet counterparts and vice versa.

Metal (The rock throwers) like to say that it’s none of my business but that’s high flying turd BS and they know it. For good and bad again we’re stuck with each other.

IMO (And I can have one anywhere I want) the AMFA Members at SWA were NUTS to say no. And I really want to just try to understand WTF over at UPS now? Are USofA AMT’s militant radicals?

I have to admit, I can understand the SWA no vote. But UPS??????

You seem to have missed this quote that drove your stupidity and ignorance. You have a chip on your shoulder chief why dont you just brush it off and get a life?

Tell me what’s wrong with what I wrote there Chief? Am I wrong on the years? Am I wrong that two of those groups voted no and want to keep going? Am I wrong to congratulate the UAL AMT’s for agreeing to their deal and getting off the roller coaster?

Am I wrong to opine that “maybe” they were the smart ones in the industry?

I have to admit, I can understand the SWA no vote. But UPS??????

THANK YOU.

Hey I can understand the SWA vote too. Just don’t really agree with it is all. Maybe they’ll eventually get that extra money they’re after but how much compounded value especially in say 401k Match will they have lost permanently?
