Once again, medical becomes the main issue..From what I herd they had increased the out of pocket 400 dollars for Insurance but can’t find it now.
The only thing I’m coming up with is the positive tag line details.
“Here are highlights of the new tentative agreement:
Dramatic increases in pay for all mechanics and related employees, including an immediate 16 percent pay increase; 3 percent raises each year, resulting in a 30.7 percent increase in pay from current rates by the end of the contract;
Retroactive pay for all hours worked from Nov. 1, 2013 (the day the current contract became amendable) to the date of ratification; Protection of an unparalleled health care package with no premiums; And an increase in UPS’s pension contributions.”
There was another part I was reading from back in 2017 where it said UPS wanted to screw retirees on their Medical.
I just heard UPS wants to contract even more work that is currently done in house.
Come on your condensending attitude towards maintenance is piss poor. You know it and everyone else does. Beleive me i would be more then happy to sever the hip tie. Your sarcasm to everyone on this board is getting real old. You dont know it all, and or everyone.Tell me what’s wrong with what I wrote there Chief? Am I wrong on the years? Am I wrong that two of those groups voted no and want to keep going? Am I wrong to congratulate the UAL AMT’s for agreeing to their deal and getting off the roller coaster?
Am I wrong to opine that “maybe” they were the smart ones in the industry?

the only one negative on here is you. You continue to lie and put your FLL gig ahead of the members. The biggest ripoff is the Association and it is going to drag this thing out for years then punt to an arbitrator and blame him/her after we get a offer that is incredibly less than the $120 million per year offer of last month. All small stations will most likely be gone as the hubs will subsidize those jobs just to get a pay raise. Not joking.Being condescending to around half a dozen to not even a dozen posters on here who are constantly negative about everything doesn’t imply any ill will or animosity towards those in highly skilled trades such as the one you’re in.
But respect is earned and not something I’m going to just give away for free because you have certificates and I don’t.
So tell me then DFW. What did you think about the UPS vote?
We have people who can't understand simple economics, and blindly listen to a union without thinking for themselves. So they said no, and expect quick solution, I think they will be disappointed, Weazz.THANK YOU.
Hey I can understand the SWA vote too. Just don’t really agree with it is all. Maybe they’ll eventually get that extra money they’re after but how much compounded value especially in say 401k Match will they have lost permanently?
A-freakin-men!!! Well said and pointed out. He is such a freakin loser and pathetic that it's funny. Never is he taken for credibility of his comments. But, as someone stated he is entertaining, maybe, or maybe NOT huh??? Gotta love this stuff man!!!Yes it’s fleet service people like you that give fleet service a bad name. Let’s see on here just as a example with people like Tim and Kev New Yorker al antook etc before you ran newyorker away like you have other civilized posters. We have civil conversation no prima Donna talk at all .you come on here badmouthing mechanics on here so yea we’re going to have a proplom with that. Again why are you so concerned what us amts do. And why are you concerned. With ups and swa contracts. There members got to vote and they voted those down. If we had voted the contract down where we had to pay for insurance and retirement medical we might be in better shape today. Once you give things up it’s nearly impossible to get back. So this contract ups mechanics would have to pay 400 for medical well in the next contract talks ups is going to want them to pay more. And yes swa mechanics deserve more then they were offered after 6 years of no raises they do deserve more. Why don’t you worry about your own group . Most mechanics own here aren’t getting in fleets business about what you should vote for are not vote for. And I know you have gone to the pilots thread and bad mouth them also just like 700 did. I go there to read what there issues are but stay out of there business. But thanks to the association you love so much. I bet we wind up like the east and west pilots . Where the twu side will stay on the bk contract and the iam stays on there’s for years to come. How could it not when the 2 head honchos on the association both have to sign to get a ta to the members as long as the iam and twu are not getting what they want we will be in limbo for years. I bet you give mechanics hell there in mia . So why don’t you mind your own business and stay out of ours. And that a&p school I went to cost way more then what you said. And we all tested to get our license. So when’s the last time you took legal responsibility for 300 people riding on a 777 going across the pond . If you think it’s so cheap and easy why don’t you go get your license. And become a amt since your so obsessed with us it borders on scary like a stalker . You know weas how do you get a long with the people you work with because if anyone disagrees with you you get rude nasty condescending and just plain hateful . And to the civil fleet service folks on here I know in maintenance we have a few like the weas here that gives mechanics a bad name. All departments have them. But on here weas just keeps going about amts so we have to defend ourselves. And I’m sure my spelling and grammar is not right for you but I think you can understand what I’m saying. It seems when you have no answer to people comments you disagree with you do a lot of childish name calling . So I beat you to it.
M&M, from what I understand so far with the UPS no vote is not the money offer per hour, but the retirement, vacation, and sending work out, (outsourcing). But the AMT's of UPS will let us know in time.I have to admit, I can understand the SWA no vote. But UPS??????
