American Airlines and Labor Negotiations

Stop pretending to ignore reality. They have been negotiating for over 6 years now and they only represent 2300 to 2500 people.

We had a merger which whether you liked it or not was going to bring in multiple groups with multiple ideologies that needed to find common ground.

Even if you took Fleet out of your Union you would still have to contend with around 13,000 people from multiple groups with various skill sets. Or do you plan to just ignore or roll over them?
It just is good to see Swarat have to eat his own words, when he starts posting your problems. We will all get a contract when our groups sign off an it gets voted in.

Fortunately, a handful of anonymous digital malcontents (that may, or may not even be actual employees or members) is not an accurate barometer of reality.
The act of posting disruptive ideologies among themselves to drive agendas, is not in itself an indictment of the collective resolve.
i agree, but it is also true that when one union boycotts the rally of its twin union, that necessarily is an indictment of disunity and being a management shill.

If Sito and the IAM are Management shills then you should expect they would have accepted that supposed last offer from the Company and not be stalling into Section 6?

You also would expect since you claim TWU and Alex Garcia are Sito’s Water boys they would just go along with whatever it is Sito and the Company want?

Could it be (GASP) that it’s the TWU who is defying Sito and not allowing you to vote and is keeping you currently stuck in that (You say) critically projected IAMPF?

Could it be the TWU Water-boys have mutinied against the Sito Quarterback?

Pay particular attention to what CEO Parker has to say at mark 8:55. He seems to have lost his way from what he said then to how he behaves today.

Sito's fondness for management is more tipped towards United and its partnership with the pension.

No, it couldnt be anything to do with the TWU.

Look, nothing is new and nothing will be new for 3 years when we get less.

Until then, your derealization will continue to get the best of you.

The IAM boycotting the TWU rally is a joke. Just shows how Alex Garcia is beta and powerless. Dude cant even get the iam to unify for solidarity.

Polly stop repeating yourself. There are no more crackers you can fill yourself up with.

You are correct Weez... if they were "shills", they would have settled and sent a T/A out long ago. They would have then recommended a yes vote, and retired to the Bahamas.

Come to think of it... the actual SHILL here has repeatedly called for a vote, even if we decimate scope!

is there something against voting?

And, for a moment, lets say Sito continues to block voting and preserves United's interest, what is the end when there is no evidence that Parker will grow a heart and offer us more, which we deserve?

Did you pick up on this?

“Mr” Nelson has said that he wants to vote because he claims FLEET Scope is done. So he doesn’t care at all if the Association is showing Solidarity for the Mechanics. He doesn’t care at all about them. And he ran for IAM GL President. Wow.

Anyway Nelson wants to vote cause he’s done enough of the math with his seniority being in ORD that the agreement would be nothing but basically gains for him. As a single the Medical cost rise would be less than the raise for what he’d choose.

Are you suggesting that somehow attaching fleet to a craft that has to globally compete due to nafta will somehow force parker to offer more?
I think the opposite is the reality as no evidence has been presented that can change the outcome.

I suggested nothing. Do you have reading comprehension issues?

Like you said. A small sample.

of course you are suggesting that fleet should be attached to mx and that somehow that relationship will result in progress.

It hasnt and it wont.

What it will do is limit progress because of various interest that are inherently contradictive and counterproductive. You lose Charlie.
No gold ticket for you.
