The Company. Why should that value go back into their pockets?

It shouldn't. It should be going into every worker's account every two weeks. Anyone not taking advantage of that "free" money has no one but themselves to blame.

The company has to cost out the full amount. I'm not sure why people would expect any different? To do less would be dodgy accounting. Rather than stomp their feet, the NC should recognize that reality, and plan their strategy accordingly.

Since we all did get raises already this is going to be the best and maybe the only time to stand our ground

If the offer were to be brought out to us in its current configuration even accounting for maybe our wages being based off the October Delta figures, I’ll still be in the vote no category.

The Company needs to get back to the table.

Our Pilots are receiving a 16% “Contribution” based off their yearly earnings or hours flown. They have no concerns about having to capture any Match. Why should we have to either?

Matches are nothing more then a Shell Game where some people never get to find the ball cause there isn’t one under any Shell.

Your condemnations aside Kev not everyone feels they can put in the Match and there are many who just don’t do it anyway.

Oh, I'm all for as large of fixed contribution as possible. Pretty sure I've said that many times on this site.

But P. Rez is 100% right irregardless of anyone’s feelings on where the money is going. Their Pension is a fixed cost that the Company wants to now change over to a variable cost mix and the lower Members are on the wage scales, the less they’ll get by comparison.

Again I’m going to try to stay out of the weeds of all the asinine arguments I’ve been reading here the last few weeks but as a total cost to the Company I’m sure they know they could be gaining a decent advantage with the switch?

Not to also mention those costs go lower after 5000 of us or so have attritioned out and those that come in aren’t earning what I earn.

Yes, let's look at the 3 other contracts. The pilots and f/a's both blew it when they agreed to binding arbitration. They both had to beg to get additions after the fact. I haven't met a f/a happy with their agreement yet. Haven't met a pax agent happy with their agreement either. We can settle on a cost neutral/ negative contract or not. I choose NOT.

P. Rez

And the APFA is still stuck with that 40 hour qualifier to keep Medical too BTW.

I won’t speak on the other Union groups because they both voted yes to their deals and buyers remorse doesn’t change that fact.

ENOUGH of the same old stale ASSociation updates from GP. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!
It is time to let the members see IN DETAIL what the company's offer is. Fine print as well.
Hell, the ASSociation doesn't even show us its proposals! Are we children here waiting for permission from daddy to get some ice cream??
Is GP the only one that counts on the entire negotiating committee????????
Does any one else on the NC have the yams to speak out?????
Show the members the company's offer! Let us see how bad GP says it is.
What is he and the NC afraid of? Is he afraid that what is on the table might get voted in????? Do we not have democratic voting process?
ENOUGH ALREADY! LET MEMBERS SEE WHAT'S OFFERED AND ENOUGH WITH THESE STALE REPETITIVE UPDATES!!!!
Do you realize that the company has yet to even propose a full offer?
You want to vote????
Vote on what????
Everyone that is asking for a vote is asking to vote on something that HASNT EVEN BEEN WRITTEN!! The ENTIRE OFFER from the company would be approx 150-200 long and some people want to vote because they are so easily SWAYED by a FEW PARAGRAPHS!
My goodness....

WAKE UP!!!!!

It’s a test.

You throw out some basics along with the items that the Company knows the Unions aren’t going to accept in their current form and then the Company reads the tea leaves as they float around the cup before they make the modified real offers.

That’s why they didn’t even bother to write it all out.

I'm wide awake...Tired of the BS GP updates.....Show the members what the details are. Show us why it is so bad. That is all I am saying here.
We have a right to see EVERYTHING that is out there. Why haven't we even seen the TA'd agreements? If they re TA'd then they must be good by the ASSociation standards. Why all the secrecy. The cat is already out of the bag.

Are we all to believe that GP speaks for ALL of us?

Let's see in detail what he finds so unacceptable. That's all i'm saying.

P. Rez just wants to manage your expectations downward. I mean face it, coming up on FIVE (5) years since the transaction closed and other work groups will soon be exchanging openers for a new section six agreement. This alliance/association has been a disaster for everyone and was a desperation move on the part of the AFL-CIO, TWU, and IAM. The only raises LAA has gotten came from the generosity of the company not the bargaining efforts of the a$$osciation no one got to vote on.

The IAM-TWU association is never short on excuses but always short on results.

Josh

The raises did not come free from the company. It was a trade for cross-utilization and to implement a 9 year top out. It wasn't to help us at all. They paid for what they wanted.

Have to ask why a banker an anti union hater is consistently on here continuously bashing the union and keeps throwing in the sito thing etc. Whats ur agenda? Are u part of dp crooked mgmt group

The reason you don’t see the TAs is Because TA means TENTATIVE agreement... which means although it is agreed to, it could still change.
If the TAs were put out and they had to be amended for some reason then everyone would say that the TAs were BS and lies.

Its a 12 year top out..

It was varied, not the same across all workgroups. Some 7+,8+, 9+, 11+ years to get to top of scale. My group went from 4+ to 9+. Then my pay was frozen for 3 years until I reach the next wage increase on the scale.
