unfortunately it would have passed as soon as all the new days off and $3,000 was announced. 95% no doubt. Hopefully, Sito doesnt bring it to a vote.
He'll have to, you will be pissing of the majority. I think the company was going to raise it anyway but now they dont have a choice

Tim either way its not goiing to be fair to one of the groups so you almost have to put it to a vote

i agree that it isnt fair to twu at least but it will fly. honestly, most could care less about clt catering. Sito already gave the nod but he needs votes so he wont give it all up till after april 2019.
ive talked to some key mx who already want out of the ass and have asked me how. Im hoping they hold off from their own in house but im guessing the frustrations around april 2019 may accelerate their idea.

Here is part of the problem.... Think of this senario (Which happened before) Fleet Service likes the company's offer and they are going to vote yes but before they do that they load up with the "Me Too" language just in case AMTs vote no. They vote yes and we vote no and we can't get any improvements because of the "Me Too" all over the Fleet contract. There are different issues for the work groups. AMTs value their paid time off. Fleet might value something else. The point is if one group is willing to sacrifice something they value less for something they value more then the other groups cannot get what they value more. And....... We have Fleet Service guys running AMT negotiations. I want Fleet to get what they want but I want my contract to bring what I want too. If you guys want to trade vacation for money then go ahead but I should be allowed to give up the 80 cents per hour to keep my week of vacation. In 2012 we were hosed out of another week of vacation because Fleet had given theirs up. Have you noticed Fleet doesn't have "Me Too" for Stores contract? They kept their 6th week of vacation. We need to have true separate negotiations and get what is important for our groups.

I have said years ago on this forum that the Association never made much sense, but it was little more than a compromise to keep both the IAM and TWU as being relevant within the newly merged company. I believe the Association will accept the folly of this partnership and work a deal where the IAM get the mechanics and the TWU takes fleet service.

No AA contract has the "Me too" language in its contract.

dont have one. Delta peeps in ord were advised so im sure Kev can confirm. Delta +3% should push it past $32 but i believe we will be $33 after company final offer.
If it goes to section 6, the company will offer significantly less than the offer on the table.
Then how did they find out, was it written on the whiteboard for everyone to see? Ask your bud to take a pic and send it to ya.
