He was one of the Union trustees but is no longer listed.

Besides the fact that this IAMPF talk is nothing but a drag back through the weeds. There has been ZERO proof provided that the IAMPF talk here has any merit.

The fact is I also was informed by two TWU President’s that Brother Pantoja did say they were not tied to the IAMPF if a suitable financial replacement was offered (5% Contribution, 4% Match not being that)

This is nothing more than a pullback into the weeds topic meant for the “sick” pleasure of one poster on here who no longer has a vote in anything that the rest of us continue to enjoy.

(The daily stupidity here now should be along momentarily)
You rang?

When was the last time NW made a contribution to the IAMNPF for you?

DL fleet service class & craft resoundingly defeated the IAM on 11/18/10. Was a glorious few weeks watching each decertification come “like a house of cards caving in” while rocking to Katy Perry Firework.

DL continued administering the NW CBA after the transaction closed in 10/2008, so for over two years DL funded the IAMNPF. As for the date of the last remittance you would have to consult DLs payroll schedule.

My guess is also that you know Brother Pantoja personally and think he’s a decent guy if not even more? And I’m sure the unrelenting character assassination against the man is both mostly unwarranted and frankly quite annoying.

And of course undermining the man is completely for the express purpose of undermining the entire IAM as a whole.

When my TWU Brothers and Sisters fall for the nonsense and mention “Sito” that’s why I refer to him as the “Boogeyman” or “Michael Myers” then I ask them to tell me precisely what they know about the man and to show me prof of the claims against him.

It’s frankly annoying as hell that I have to do this but Cest La Vie I guess.
The methodology has been the same for decades, Theide... Canale ... Delaney... and now Sito...
It doesn't matter who's in the position, it could even be Jesus Christ, the proxies will still attack them...

Same old, same old... yawn...

I’ve noticed that for a pretty long while now. Not as long as you guys have been aware of it, but long enough.

Funny story PIEDMONT. The first (and only) time I heard of the AGW was back in 2003. And the guy that tried to sell me on it was one Jimmy Miller. Yes the same Jimmy Miller who was just tossed off a particularly angry little man’s Group page.

Suffice it to say I highly doubt he will ever support the AGW or anything like it again, lol.

Spit......

It was pretty close. Unfortunately, a lot of people sat the election out entirely.

Sidenote: No one at NW ever referred to the ramp as “Fleet Service.”

And even getting Puchala and the NMB to change the voting rules to tilt the odds in the union’s favor, rescinding SCS filing, then re-filed SCS nearly two years after the transaction closed and filing interference charges the IAM still lost dues payers.

And other workgroups came out more strongly against representation.

Unwarrented? You are worse than management.
Bere is Sitos actions:
Hawaiian: agreed to ready reserve and on call. They get crap otherwise
United: gave up 400% health care, closed stations, unlimited pt (parker wants the UA deal).in return he got his board seat.
Alaska: wiped out iam members by mobilizing mcgee with a 12 page contract below minimum wage.
Spirit: slashed all stations in deal to nab 100 in fll. 26 page contract. Tops out after 8 years at $15.

Delta would get absolutely pounded if it were naive enuf to vote in the iam.

the new nmb is reviewing the rules and is expected to flip them again.

and the iam pension is holding up talks here. Company even offered all of us an additional 40%, up from 5.5% but sito said no cuz it goes in our 401k which we would control.

Is the cost to the company that much of a difference whether they contribute to 401 or IAMPF?
Absolutely!!
First just to get out of the pension the company would owe a huge amount just to freeze and secure the amount that the current members have in there for retirement.
Also the company knows that no matter how good a 401k is, that a certain percentage of employees won’t participate in it.
Now, if we can get a automatic contribution from the company for everyone, and one that makes since, then except for the amount of monies it would take to get out of the pension, it would then be the same cost to the company.
