Maybe, just maybe they are feeling the heat from more and more of their members about the
trust of the Association and progress of negotiations. And before you start down that road of you see no or very little people complaining, come on down to Dallas. I don't think they would put out that letter because of a few disgruntled members.

All lies you spew. The when and where directed had nothing to do with any current scope. NOTHING. Uncle Jerry went in with the final offer and offered ALL current scope at ALL stations to close out a deal. It was a helluva deal but it was inclusive of getting out of the IAM pension and LAA insurance. Sito didn't give a **** about LUS insurance and that was NOT the problem, but he wanted to line item the IAM Pension. I can't be sure, but I believe the conversation was brief and went something like this, Uncle Jerry "ARE YOU F'KING OUT OF YOUR MIND?" "I JUST OFFERED YOU AN INDUSTRY LEADING CONTRACT AND YOU SAID NO?". "F YOU SITO, YOU WILL SEE ME IN SECTION 6 AND THERE WILL BE HELL FIRE TO PAY BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER SEE THIS PROTECTION AGAIN.....YOU HEAR ME, F YOU.....NEVER AGAIN."

To be sure, Alex stood down and would have taken the offer but we all know that sister Alex is submissive in the beta role to his hero.

Had a couple of union stewards show up in my work area to talk up the protest and they faced some very angry people. I felt kind of bad for them as they are not to blame, but a few guys, all with 32 -35 years went off on them. The conversation ended up being how can we get rid of the Association. The 2 union reps are guys that I respect and would not mind representing me in a dispute and they handled the talk well. The problem is you have to expect this when you put what is best for your members at the bottom of the list. The communication is awful, but the 2 reps said that LUS has said they will not agree to anything that increases medical for them. I told them, can you blame them? They're in the drivers seat and the TWU goes along for the ride.

It's quite evident the TWU membership is getting tired of the Association crap, I see it daily in Dallas and I would imagine you do as well, Talos. But as you have witnessed, throw some facts out there and you get hit with denials and sarcasm from miles away.

Be as sarcastic as you like I'll bet the union stewards truly believe what they are saying.I believe there is little communication between the executive committees and those in line below them.

The association has been a cluster from day one.I dont think people really grasp what is going on here, how f@@led up it really is. I feel some people have it in the back of their minds that it might not take too much longer say months to a year.It wouldnt surprise me if we were in the same boat 5 years from now
