This "transparency" issue doesn't bother me as it does you. I've mentioned on here before that the IAM has NEVER revealed pre-tentative agreement discussions.
I've known NC members, past and present, and know they have our best interest in mind.
that transparency issue got us into the association with out a vote.

The association is getting played like a big bass fiddle!

Even the company is using the lack of unity in the association members to pit one union against the other.

The company has always successfully used this tactic with the many groups we have in the TWU, now we just made it twice as easy for them.

JMO I think the ASS fears a vote because the possibility that if one group passes the offer by a wide margin, and another rejects by a wide margin. Just think if the mechanics pass at say 80% and fleet rejects at say 80%. 80% of the mechanics might be inclined to say, CHANGE UNIONS. The loss of dues scares the hell out of them.

Oh so after you say the Mechanics like the deal and pass it by 80% they’re going to start a card drive to dump the group that got them what they like?

Holy chit where do you people come from? LMFBO.

I get the feeling the union wont let this out for vote and for good reason in my opinion. It appears some are quick to throw some of their brothers under the bus for a few bucks not realizing next time around it could be them.I think MTC would pass despite all the nos in the breakroom.I think fleet wouldnt pass unless the sweetened the pot to say 33 and clarified some scope language Yup that would do it.Idont know if these proposals are subject to future negotiations

If they get this proposal to a PEB and the PEB doesn’t recommend any changes between what the Association has asked for and the Company’s proposals then we will vote on it. Probably with a Strike vote attached to its failure as well? (Irrelevant if the Government lets us Strike or not)

BTW that (microcosm) Local vote is now 65 against, 16 for.

Is that fleet or mech? Another thing i curious to see the ass proposal but it really doesnt mean a hill of beans cause they can and should be asking for something far fetched

i disagree about the iam having our best interest at heart that’s why the check mark. And I just had a hospital visit and surgery plus at home picc line antibiotics all that was a 100 percent covered all I’m out is the 400 ded and 2500 out of pocket. Yes your insurance may cost you less but ours covers my needs. Y’all got that cheaper insurance do to y’all had less top out pay. So you know how much the lack of holidays and holiday pay has cost us twu members. So sorry I’m not sympathetic to you at all. And sorry I hurt your feeling with red mark not .

Whatever you had/have, I hope you’re recovery is a fast one!

That was my Local’s Group page.

I’ve heard the plan now is to post it. I haven’t asked in what form they plan or if they just intend to post where they last stand on what’s left?

No point in reposting the stuff that’s already been agreed to since the Company already popped that out.

Could that backfire on the unions cause what they propose we arent likely to get

really disappointing stuff from the company in regards to laa fsc employees.

even the ticket agents are getting 2.5% a year after their first year and their contract was signed a few years ago, before additional billions were added to the company's piggy bank. the company offers us 2% a year after the 1st year. ticket agents even get $1/hr more for speaking a foreign language. stingy.

i don't see 3% more than ua, let alone dl on DOS..and they will blow us away with profit sharing.

i see that laa c/c will become iam type leads, not a happy time for the lazy laa c/c.

the company is also offering an additional $3k to lus assoc. members to soften the medical plan shift. great. who cares about the amount of holidays laa have been denied since 2014.

all this and we aren't even at scope.

the jetnet stuff is ridiculous. could anyone imagine the company doing this stuff with the pilots?? they must hold us with the same contempt that i held them with when they lead their garbage airlines prior to this merger.

they've brought their garbage here. we're only ahead of frontier?? and, i was for the merger.

If you go back and look at vote counts from past squeakers, I think you would see our agreements are for the most part passed but TULE and Title 2, neither of which would be exempt from a change in representation. I think where the rub is , is the perception of the IAM dictating to the TWU, the tail wagging the dog.

It seems top mgmt here are failing in multiple areas. The operation is a mess and it shows in the rankings. Bags being scanned everywhere and anywhere by equipment that does not work properly. The missed bags caused by these things is amazing. And they want to use them to assign us? It's getting laughable. You really get the feeling that this mgmt is not up to the task and are declining at a rapid pace. I heard the only reason they made money was because of selling miles to the credit card companies. And the contract stuff on top of it all. Really disappointing.
