It seems top mgmt here are failing in multiple areas. The operation is a mess and it shows in the rankings. Bags being scanned everywhere and anywhere by equipment that does not work properly. The missed bags caused by these things is amazing. And they want to use them to assign us? It's getting laughable. You really get the feeling that this mgmt is not up to the task and are declining at a rapid pace. I heard the only reason they made money was because of selling miles to the credit card companies. And the contract stuff on top of it all. Really disappointing.

the credit card deal is great for all the airlines..but the biggest boost is the price of oil - relative to prior times. oil was at $140/bbl for a stretch in 2008...$170+/bbl in today's money.

how the real aa didn't file bk is a credit to our former airline, it's workers and top level mngt.

i saw the "gee whiz, we have zillions of bags to ramp in a bank" video and big deal. the real aa ran banks...45-50 minute banks that not even united in their own HQ, could keep up with in the 90s.

they got rid of laa management and this isn't 4 flights a day of phx to clt. lots of those laa people had a role in aa being the #1 airline from the late 80s til 9-11.

after throwing their weight around, the company added 2 late sweeteners. one for the AMTs and one for lus assoc. members.

laa fsc must be a$$holes. nothing for us.

Normally that’s to be expected. I don’t recall ever seeing a Company put out all the details of what’s been agreed to as it’s not normal practice. Have you ever seen that before?

Go back to those Company proposals. Most of the dates are a year or two old with one in Fleet being April 17, 2017. In Fleet there are 8 Articles not entirely agreed to yet and all 8 have different dates attached to them. There aren’t 2 that have the same date at all.

So those are all “separate” proposals. Just like I’m sure the Association has given multiple separate proposals the last of which now they’re going to have to put together to share as one online to all of us.
He is right. Peterson and baskett kept saying bullet points. When i told you that they do in fact have a comprehensive, you lied.
 
I was curious, can the members force union to want to vote on the companies proposal? Maybe if the International put out its proposal then the members could see the difference between us union members and the company!!!

Sounds like my station. I've never seen such a s**tstorm.
 
In the new language the Company posted I don’t read any time frame for when they can return if they want?

It states something about them being furloughed but Management doesn’t get furloughed, they get let go or fired. Furloughed is a Union word.

I can see how the language may encourage more knowledgeable CSM’s being on the Field and getting rid of all the pinheads is something I can support. Just not so sure how much I support the ship jumper having that lifeline?

CSM’s Fire Union Workers from time to time. From the point the leap is made IMO they can never be one of us ever again.

Some folks deserve a second chance after they've realized the mistake they made.
 
i disagree about the iam having our best interest at heart that’s why the check mark. And I just had a hospital visit and surgery plus at home picc line antibiotics all that was a 100 percent covered all I’m out is the 400 ded and 2500 out of pocket. Yes your insurance may cost you less but ours covers my needs. Y’all got that cheaper insurance do to y’all had less top out pay. So you know how much the lack of holidays and holiday pay has cost us twu members. So sorry I’m not sympathetic to you at all. And sorry I hurt your feeling with red mark not .

First, and foremost, sorry for your ailments! Hope all is well now.
Just saying our insurance would have saved you $1400 for the same care as Out of Pocket max is $1500, which INCLUDES the deductible.
Also, I said the NC had our best interest in mind, not the IAM.
And don't worry about hurting my feelings. I leave them at home! X away!
 
Why would you want to vote on something that isn’t a tentative agreement?
I don't think anyone believes this is a TA which we will vote on. The next action should be the union showing their counter proposal. In full text form also.
A vote on anything is going to be a ways off.
