So you’re ok then with the massive differences in Profit Sharing we receive that 3% would satisfy you?

The Wage and PS offered by the Company does place us in last place in yearly Gross compared to Delta, UAL and SWA.

Listening to the Podcast the 401K formula offered is also not Industry leading.
It wouldnt bother me if our scope was better, but of course im on the backside and everything is just icing
 
The iam at first thought they were going to get there insurance and a big payday on the iampf. They wouldn’t even support us twu . Then when they were threatened iam woke up. I’m glad the company put there proposals out because now the association can’t cut our pay raises for dues members. I don’t trust the company but my trust for the association is lower. The company put there’s out in writing weather you like it are don’t.but the association still has not posted there’s they must be hiding something. They need to post side by side then let us members decide what needs to be tweaked on both sides. The association owes us due paying members that. Not some future person we need to take care of the people now . When we took pay cuts the union international didn’t get a cut in pay. So they don’t feel our pain.

This guy is clueless. Absolutely, totally butt F clueless.

And I don’t want anyone to try and claim it’s the damn pain Medication the guy takes anymore either.
 
I actually suggested to Peterson and Dittmer a year ago that whenever the company posts something to use the same format to explain the unions position. For example take the companies bullett point presentation and post the unions position and explain the differenced in the SAME EXACT FORMAT the company uses. That achieves a few things, the membership is seeing the company propaganda in the form published and the unions rebuttal right next to it in a familiar format. In an argument i always like to use my adversaries words against them it drives them crazy.
They blew me off. Oh well cant help those that dont want to be helped.
 
Maybe they will figure out what they have been doing isnt working and try something new. Right now the best strategy the association has is the company proposal/propaganda. I find it hard to beleive they dont have someone savvy enough to take the companies bullett points answer them line by line and use their own words against them.
 
I would like to see a contract by December! The company is laughing at our membership because we have no leadership. Merged unions won’t work!!!

They will never have a successful strategy that works until the Membership as a whole decides to get off their collective asses and do what they know needs to be done.

2 Dozen or so guys with titles on their desks aren’t going to be able to push the Company like 30,000 or 25% could.

dfw gen do you have any ideas what can be done successfully where the Membership can just sit back and do nothing eating popcorn?

So the company says ill give you 60$ per hour the ass comes out and says they are asking for 80$ so you decide you tweak it to 70$....come on.And then after all is said and done you get 60 and are bitter for the next 8 years...cone on

The Company appears to have left that decision firmly in the hands of the NMB Mediators.

But IMO the longer you guys argue and squabble against the Unions, the longer this is going to take.

W, to whom are we supposed to complain?Ordinarily that would be our union, the TWU. But in this case they're the culprits. They have their membership in a position that most hate, except you. just a quick glance a the company proposal says it all. It's basically everything IAM. Cs policy, CC language, When and where, IAMPF, etc. How did the TWU agree to ta any of these? I think we can agree that the company is the enemy and that they're proposal belongs in the trash. But seriously what the hell is the TWU doing? You have 25% of the workforce directing traffic at every turn smh. Imo we need to separate or vote on one representative. The company is using the dysfunction of the ASS to their advantage, as expected. If the unions really respected their members we wouldn't have to complain for them to realize this. Everyone involved including you knows the ASS is the real problem and always has been
