Just proves Samuelson was there for a show.

I wonder if Bernie knows how the association was formed, and that we have no input no vote and no choice.
Kinda of how the Bernie believes take stuff that doesn't belong to you, and give it, to people that don't want to work.

Gary Peterson said I have the biggest ego in the room= Samuelson hold my beer

Isom says I’ll sign United’s contract right now. Gary said let’s do it. Isom said I couldn’t do that it would cause massive layoffs. Gary are you a fking fool

Ok, I'm willing to bet a shiny new quarter($0.25) that soon after( as in within the same year a contract is signed) Parker retires and Isom takes the helm.

YES, YES, YES!!! Unbelievable how this guy keeps doing this. Pathetic.
It's time to FIRE this fiasco asso. Make it happen guys...
Stupid.webp

Watching the town hall meeting from LGA was like going to my local union meeting and watch the members telling the union to get off their ass and get us a contract. They allow us to vent and then nothing gets accomplished. The union cares more about dues then your contract. Every day Iam losing money!!!!!

cant really refute what you are saying but I wouldnt be surprised if the video was sent to the judge which is 100% certain to order an injunction and caution Mr Samuels about rhetoric that can be code for inciting members.
Whatever the case, Isom had to correct him twice that we only made $3 billion, which really is not alot when you look at the thin profit margin.
Does Samuels really think we made $300 billion?
your a freaking iidiot, a 100 million a year used to be considered a good year. 3 billion is a lottery win. please go away your a tool.

On Jetnet, some union leaders are actually saying that the UA MX contract isn't that bad. Give them the United contract. Gary wants it. Let him deal with the fallout of massive job loss. He can't process the proposal in front of him. Instead of balls, we need brains.

Dear United team member, We are pleased to share some good news about steps United has taken to strengthen the IAM National Pension Fund and protect your retirement benefits. Over the last several weeks, United has met with the IAM to discuss the issues facing the IAM National Pension Fund. As a result of our collaborative discussions, United and the IAM have jointly agreed to the NPF’s Preferred Schedule of the Rehabilitation Plan. This means that United chose to increase the Company’s financial contribution to ensure your future monthly benefit at age 65 will not be reduced because of the Rehabilitation Plan. United does not make this commitment lightly. It reflects the loyalty of the company and its leaders to the men and women who have worked so hard to ensure the success of the airline we love. IAM District 141 Union Representatives have been briefed by representatives of the IAM National Pension Plan and will be in the field meeting with employees and answering questions over the comingweeks. Contact your IAM District 141 office for more details. In addition, the IAM NPF has created avideo to help explain the Rehabilitation Plan in more detail. If you have additional questions, please contact the IAM NPF directly at 866-232-1296

In thinking theres another fool here. First isom says he will. Then he wont. Its not like you can put any stock into what the company says. Isom bluffed he has no intention of signing uniteds deal.

I finally got to watch the LGA town hall meeting. I have no issue with the top brass speaking up on our behalf, but it was very unprofessional to say the least. They really did make us all look like a bunch of Bafoons. You can get the point across to Isom without shouting and repeating yourself. It couldn't have looked worse, with the president of the local turning around backwards to read off what he wanted to say. Get yourself together, have the notes in front of you, and face the guy who you're engaging with in conversation. I could have looked more professional when I was in HS.
If this is the approach that they bring to the table, we're screwed even worse than I thought.
I'm willing to bet that 98% of the people in the room were rolling their eyes for the entire rant.
Hell, I was embarrassed just by watching the video.
Embarassing isn’t the word. Watching Sammy and his boy toy Gary surrounded by fleet service local union wannabes while their Messiah roars was priceless.
