Don’t make your decisions based on what AMFA can do with a company that is in BK.

JMHO, pensions are gone and there is little we can do about it.
Fight it? Of course, but we know we are going in with the deck stacked against us and numerous cases that have already set legal precedence (USAir for one).

There is also legal precedence as to not being able to strike over a ‘distress’ pension termination under the ERISA laws. Laws have been implemented to tie our hands and bend us over.

As ‘Labor’, we only have “oneâ€￾ tool in our toolbox. We can keep waving it and stroking it but at this point no one is afraid of it.

So don’t put the onus of your decisions on the backs of the AMFA M&R at the “Lazy’Uâ€￾.

You are clearly outnumbered now, and the NMB and AA will not be able to fabricate additional voters.

Of course we could use the shining example of how the TWU has 'bobbed the knob' but what would that serve? We are in our current situation with the assistance of your 'lightning fast' twu (and iam) capitulation, and now it's our fault? You and the TWU informer have been spewing that same line for along time.

And you know as well as anyone that the eligible list had to be manipulated three times to insure there was no election.

First AA admitted to 1200+ eroneous names, the TWU admitted the same to the number only from another group of workers. Both AA and the TWU bedwetters were screaming about the legitimate information provided to prove you are both liars. Now we simply wait for the clock.

Meanwhile the list has shrunk considerably, card count is close enough to reach the goal with little effort.

Why do you think we have been sitting on our heels waiting?

It is the NMB and the RLA that makes us wait a full year, it is not the TWU or any lack of support for AMFA that we are presented with a new form of patience.


And to top that, the TWU Local 514 is generating a wealth of new supporters with the outlandish company unionism.
