Anti-vaccine idiocy

It just bothers me when two doctors who are running for president get weak in the knees because they don't want to offend a small group of idiots.

They will offend them sooner or later, everyone does.

It's irresponsible. They are contributing to the argument that people like McCarthy are using to instill fear in people. Children are not getting vaccinations that could save their lives and those who they come into contact with.

That alone disquifies them from office in my opinion.

What kills me are the people who try to make it an issue of liberty or religious freedom. Sorry, but you do not have the "liberty" to spread disease. If it's a religious issue that tells me you're an ignorant superstitious fool

Don't have time to look now but didn't CA pass a law saying that there are no exemptions to vaccination?

On June 30, 2015 Governor Brown signed SB 277 and personal and religious belief exemptions will not be allowed in California, effective July 1, 2016. However, if a parent files a letter or affidavit stating beliefs opposed to immunization prior to Jan. 1, 2016 that exemption will apply until the next grade span.

Amazing that only two other states deny vaccination exemptions. Even more amazing: those two states are West Virginia and Mississippi.

The Bay Area seems to be a hotbed of the anti-vaccine movement. Which is not that surprising.
