usairways has cut back or gone to express in many markets. day is gone bwi shredded (former hubs), a few years back they closed daytona and melboure..you agts in res know you cant find a seat to florida now..over 50% of flts gone. with all these cuts system wide...we still operate 2 flts a day to srq (48 air miles from tpa)...only way to get there is thru clt. both flts are 734..first flt arrives 1222 departs 120 second arrives 422 departs 520..talk about a cake job..anyway, does not seem logical to pay for employees and facilities for approx 280 pax in and 280 out a day..if the flts are full. do we owe the city of srq or do a couple of vp`s own property there..
ps. with the exception of 2 co express flt a day out of tpa, delta is the only other carrier to srq..9 daily nonstops..3 from cvg 6 from atl...
we compete with 2 flts..go figure
any one have a good answer plz share...
