Just flew in from SDQ on sunday, what a joke the customs area is, thank god we were the Only flight in at that time of the morning, could not imagine more than one flight coming in at the same time! The customs area was the size of a Small airport boarding area with at least 10 customs booths in a "L" shape. We only had 45 people on our flight heaven help us if we were full or came in with another flight, there would be Absolutly No place for these people to stand, the line would be all the way back to the jetway! And then you have to walk out side and go to terminal 3, real nice if it happens to be storming out! :down:

The Immigration and Customs folks do a reasonable job, but they are pretty cranky now that they actually have to WORK for their government largesse.

I have arrived at FLL to find the lines backed up to the jetways.

It's possible to walk from to terminal three without getting wet. The walkway downstairs is covered (by the walkway above,) and if the rain is wind-driven, you can walk through the parking garage.
