Are they Hypocrites?

I have no problem letting pilots ride the cabin jumpseat as long as f/as can ride the cockpit jumpseat.
Except the pilots can't give you the cockpit jumpseat because of the FAA, the west pilots have had access to the fa jumpseat which let's more non rev's on, the east fa's apparently are cut from the same cloth as their pilots.

And that cabin JS restriction, good luck on that. If its open and there's a pilot needing a ride, he/she will get it. If the FAs don't like it, they can leave.

....that would be a VIOLATION of one's (FA) contract. Refuse to fly, REPLACE ME, THEN.

Its simply a matter of operations. If parking is not available for the correct proportion of necessary crew members to staff flights then flights won't operate.

Why clowns in PHX, or passengers give a rats ###....
 
So the East pilot's whom have held this company hostage over their jihad for Date of Hire only, have shown their true colors. Apparently they demand Date of hire for everything unless of course it is not to their advantage. Case in point, Pittsburgh airport is only assigning 500 parking spots to commuting usair employees, not enough, so the Airport will award those spots based on the employees date of hire. You would think the east pilot's would be thrilled, you would be wrong. Apparently based on date of hire most parking spots will go to our hard working flight attendants leaving very few for commuting pilots so the east pilots now claim the the "gold standard" date of hire is "unfair" to them and do not want a date of hire methodology used when it comes to assigning parking spots. Usapa has taken upon itself to try and take flight attendant parking spots and have them assigned to pilots with less longevity. Are the east pilots Hypocrites?

Let's see, US Airways reduced its presence at PIT to a token amount increasing the costs to other airlines for landing fees, etc; closed a f/a base there; closed a pilot base there; reduced employment at PIT. Now, they "need to demand adequate parking" from PIT airport authority for people who are commuting from there to other bases. Chutzpah, you got. Common sense, not so much.

so is explaining to the Chief Pilot, why the flight went out late, huh? Try that, multiple times. Easties wont let anyone on their jumpseats without the AUTHORIZED RIGHT to be there. Understand, contractual? I find it IRONIC that YOU would whine about lack of ethnics from the East pilots (Nic Award) yet, you have no problem violating my contract. Isnt that Hyprocritical??????

And you lecture me on ethics yet you would let a coworker trying to get back to his family sit in the terminal while an empty cabin jumpseat leaves the gate.

Save it.

I can guarantee you that you FA's will lose this battle. It'll only take a few removals and the word will spread quickly enough.

Just remember who is the final authority on that aircraft and you'll figure it out.
