Offended? Please. For me to be offended I have to at least respect the individual I am conversing with. I do not know Ed, and he has leveled several insults. No, I am not offended.

Ed acts as though some ones lisp affects his life (if I am reading his post correctly). I work with gay, straight and everyone in-between. I could care less what they do in their spare time as long as they do not try and imposes it upon me. I am friends with some and despise. I have no problem labeling an individual as a pin head or similar. When you start labeling a group like “Screw schedulers†or such, then I have a problem and as far as I am concerned, when you start doing that you are stereotyping and you are a bigot. Perhaps not in the full blown manner of a klucker, but you do have issues. Before anyone goes off the deep end, in this case I am using “you†in the general sense, not referring to anyone specific.

Yes I am aware that his “FABGAY was “tongue and cheek†but the fact that he even made reference to it indicates his mind set. He seems to be of the mind set that “they†have and “agendaâ€. Who they are and what the agenda is has not been defined. Oh sorry, I miss quoted, it’s a “radical gay agendaâ€. LOL Yes yes, I remember now. They want to take over the world and make everyone gay. I wonder if it was created to stave off the radical hetero agenda. You know the one. It’s where the heteros take over the world and impose their beliefs on everyone. How laughable. What scares you so much about gays? Does allowing them to marry and enjoy the same rights as everyone else threaten your way of life? Get over it already. The 50% divorce ate for heteros is more damning than anything the gays can do.

Out of all the gay males I have met, the man in the picture is certainly not representative of them. I would not consider that a traditional view. He is probably no more reflective of the typical gay life stile than … hell, I have no idea what to compare it to. Regardless, even if it were, who cares? Just as the tattoo folks I referenced earlier. If that is their chosen life style, so be it. I would treat them just as any other individual I meet. I think it’s bizarre and I will not even claim to understand it.
If it does not affect you, get over it and move on.

I think that many heterosexual Africans would argue with you on this point, if they were not so concerned with trying to live.

I'm fairly certain the infection demographic has shifted in the US as well.

If you are trying to make a blanket statement that "AIDS is God's way of punishing homos" you might want to note that Lesbians probably have the lowest risk of infection of any group.

I'd be willing to bet that the smokers and the obese cost US corporations far more in health care and lost time that those folks with a lisp.

According to the CDC, it is estimated that over 12 million deaths can be linked to smoking in the US alone since 1964. It estimates that in 1999, 400,000 people a year are killed by smoking.

I could not find an explanation on the figure discrepancy above. I assume it is dependent upon the term “prematureâ€￾ but I am not sure. You’ll have to ask the CDC.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, weight related deaths will soon exceed deaths related to smoking.

So I assume that I can expect to see a post from you railing against those who smoke and/or smoke? Or does that not fit in with your religious bias/zealousness?

Until the likes of Guido and Eddie are on the receiving end of bigotry, they will live in their own little bitter world content to sit in judgment of others. How ever, given the fact that they are, more than likely, white, hetero males, it is unlikely they will ever encounter a nose hanging in a locker, swastika painted on a building they frequent or a boss who wants to sleep with them.

I work with a very broad group of people covering several nationalities, races and sexual preferences. They are all perfectly capable of the afore mentioned mental processes. All I hear, see and read is a group of disenfranchised individuals who want to have the same legal rights afforded to every other person who lives in the US. I have not seen nor heard of any legislation requesting any “specialâ€￾ rights not afforded to the rest of the members of this country. Marriage is no longer just a religious event and union. It is a legally binding contract subject to the laws of the state and the US Federal government. By preventing gay access to the same rights and protections that everyone else may enjoy, is in my opinion, a violation of the US Constitution.

As I mentioned earlier, murder is murder. Whether it be based on hate, passion or just because someone was pissed off is irrelevant. On that I believe we agree.
