Stop an East pilot at an airport and ask them that question. I am confident they will be very patient with you in their response.

I do not know the uniform policy of the america west pilots but in the following video you get to see an america west pilot f/o and capt uniform. :28 is mike daley and at 6:22 is eddie chandler, they were scabbing in Australia at the time. Were they wearing the proper uniforms?

I know you west pilots are into pompasass and circumstances and set a good example of pilot uniforms in your video while you were scabbing and recruiting scabs in Australia.

Wouldn't it be special if those Third Listers and the hundreds of incoming new hires combined with 1500 West Pilots voted USAPA off the island?

Third listers know that you guys will strip them of their time they serve with company just to get ahead. Wouldn't it be nice if the company sold the East to American and left you with PHX and USAPA? That would be ironic.
 
Calm down hero. Just because you helped ruin thousands of careers with your "experiment" (your word) and now go out of your way to help the company, doesn't mean you need to project your failure on others. I know you're having it rough with the family issues as well and come to these boards to vent, but you need to man up and accept responsibility for your actions.
Oh. Now when you can't make your argument you bring up family issues as a repost. How sad. Takes a real man to call someone out for family issues. Sounds like a Marty Harper argument. However, since you can't argue the law I will tell you that everyone has family issues. Some more and some less. Having said that, your time and appearance on this board must mean that you have NO life and a real failure. If you hate life and you hate the pilots you are condemned to work with why are you still here Coward?

Let me help you out Bean.

The bottom E-190 "Captain" was hired 2/27/2012. Almost 18 months with the company. He MUST possess an ATP, First Class medical and a type rating. When he was hired and trained he was already typed by the Company in the E-190. So assuming he was already in the right seat of the 190 he would be in a short course for about 10 days, get IOE and be on the line in another 2-3 weeks. According to the contract, he would get 2nd year Captain pay on the E-190.

Now I don't know his background but lets let out some legal hypotheticals. First, the Company (not the union) can interview and hire under the new regs only pilots with an ATP. An ATP candidate needs 1500 min plus a few other sub-details. He would most likely be required to have a a first class medical as so called proof of upgradability.

Now the Company doesn't care about seniority, they DON'T want to pay for it. This is clearly spelled out in both the Transition agreement AND the MOU. So you tell me, which is more cost effective for the Company...this same person flying Captain on the 190, wouldn't it be MORE cost effective to, without seniority, type him in the 330 and have him fly Captain at whatever pay they want to pay him and get rid of Captains that get paid a whole lot more?

What if the Company holds out bids based on who will fly the position for less rather than who gets the position by their years if service with the Company? Forget the stripes (eye candy) and focus on the problem. Btw, ask that new captain on the 190 if he would like to have the company hire direct entry Captains for the bigger equipment(equate more money) and get back to me.
