We got our class certification just like the last two times - good.
The company can participate in depositions of the Usapians if they wish or they can just sit there and listen - good.
USAPA wanted to depose just about everyone on every issue to see if they could find a west pilot who would support DOH - they can't do that now.
USAPA wanted just about every email, text message, and phone record of AOL - they can't do that now either.
She is not going to change her mind on keeping this thing going - also good.
In short, if the company and the DOJ can settle this thing and eliminate that temporary ripeness question, then Silver is not going to waste time on the games that USAPA wants to play. It's full speed ahead as soon as this merger happens.

I don't know Silver's political affiliation but I'm guessing Democrat. Why, because she was appointed by Clinton and received her education in California.

The proposed class counsel has substantial experience regarding the precise issues presented in this case and were successful in the prior jury trial. USAPA offered no plausible basis for the Court to reject the proposed class counsel and there is none. The Court will appoint Marty Harper, Andrew S. Jacob, and Jennifer Axel as class counsel.
