With no agreement does AWA AFA qualify for Macaskill/Bonds like AA?

Does this change the perceived DOH on the US/AWA side vs. AA?

Does AWA get slotted with AA and US?

Not having a contract has nothing to do with qualifying for M-B. All it takes is different unions representing the two sides or one side not unionized.

That is the question. Personally, I don't think it affects the east/west FA seniority integration - despite not having a combined contract, unless I'm mistaken there legally is only one FA group at US, represented by the AFA through a single MEC, and that one group has a valid combined seniority list.

I believe there are 2 MEC's.
There was 1 JNC but that may be disbanded or in disarray by now.

I stand corrected then. That could make it different than the pilots, although seniority has already been settled for the FA's also. So I would assume that the FA combined list would still be used.

With the agreement not consummated it begs the question does AWA leap frog from a DOH to a slotted integration?

Would AWA even want to complete an agreement with US ?

Could US Airways' F/A's have made the biggest mistake in their careers by voting "no" on the TA?

Will the East F/A's lose their DOH SLI with the West F/A's. Without an implemented list could the SLI become a 3-way non DOH integration? How much better off would US Airways' F/A's be if they ratified their TA when the JNC told the F/A's a signficant benefit was a ratified deal before a merger was announced?

If AA and US flight attendants agree to DOH, then they will get DOH. M-B only applies if the two groups are unable to agree to a method for integrating seniority, if I remember correctly. Now it would be really interesting to see if DOH would revert the former TWA FAs at AA to their original DOH.

Realistically why would AA or AWA go for DOH.

Who gets out voted?

Hell No! Still losing $1000 a month, so far.

Wow, 320 pilot, could you enlighten us as to the posible follow on implications of the Pilots not having a ratified contract either....could the nic be moot? and we all are in for a McKaskill-Bond threeway integration?
surely the flt attendants were further along in acceptance of their sli, just a snag with the terms of said contract......so if the pilots havent even gott to the consumating contract piont....hhmmm

Could you plz explain?

Is there a SLI for the F/A's?

I don't think so.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I believe so. they were seniority list integrated (SLI) as per thr common union's policy....Date-Of-Hire.....

But the question has been posed, since American is a dissimallar union, and the AFA never consumated the deal with a contract.....

Coud the SLI be in question?

And if so, what makes the pilots any different........)

Pilots have no west MEC.

AFA still has 2 MEC's.

Does that mean there is no DOH?

But the pilots have a common union, a PHX set of reps, just as PHL n CLT etc...

oh i get your point....so i guess the representativdes for "ALL" pilots is USAPA

well then , its easy.....everybody gets what there duelly elected union leaders work out for them....whats the beef then?
