Bailing Out On Ailing Us Airways

Well, size doesn't make that much of a difference in an airline's network. US Airways is now smaller than Southwest, but still has more destinations and a more varied network because they fly thier planes differently.

When US Airways was a 400+ plane airline, the network didn't look all that different than it does as a 280 plane airline.

In one sense, we're still a 400 plane airline, more or less. It's just that the "Mesa's" are operating more planes and mainline less.

I would love to see a list if how many aircraft each Express operator has for USX if anyone knows.

Also, I can't think of a single new destination US has added with an RJ in the last few years. The upcoming Georgetown service is the only one I can think of.
