BIG ICE STORM hits parts of Midwest/Power outages

True, car/pleasure trunk tire chains are a think of the past,
However, with a situation like this( the first few bad days) , i doubt a cop, worth his salt, would care, or have time to care about nit picking on the chains.

If I had a closed garage, I'd have a "Set of Baloney Skins" with chains on them, for a quick remount during real tough Ice, and deep snow storms(like the one heading this way, on sunday)

Hope your forecast is more accurate than ours was - although St Joseph (about 50 miles north of KC - but almost next door to MCI) did get about an inch of ice. Don't know what the conditions were like at MCI, but Southwest canceled all of their flights yesterday.

The power is starting to come back online, seen a convoy of bucket trucks, auger trucks, and crew cabs headed north this morning about 20 or so and they all had the Lone Star State emblem on the side. Glad to see our neighbors coming to our aid!

It looks as if a tornado tore thru the state and left the houses standing!

All flights have resumed at TUL.

Bears....hope you guys get the snow without the ice, and KC careful there at MCI you don't need a hip replacement to go along with your bum toe!
