Boeing IAM members say NO!

And was found guilty, and the IAM has a CBA, and doesnt need to negotiate a new one yet, they are trying to secure the work for job security for its members.

Go steal more money and kill innocent people.

Yep but I still like that they are going after the IAM vigorously. Again why did DL 751 and chief negotiator GVP Mark Blondin suggest that for ratification? Preserve dues? Again the IAM can't even negotiate CBAs their members deem adequate with companies making record profits, so what will your excuse now be?

Boeing spox: "Boeing did not withdraw its counterproposal, nor was there any need to do so, because the counterproposal was rejected."

Why does every thread in this and other forums that has anything about any union have to become a personal attack volley between the two of you?

Why don't the moderators just close this thread and start a pinned thread to let you two attack each other and let everyone else discuss the issues.

what Boeing is going to wind up saying is hello northCarolina South Carolina or Missouri something along those lines.

It will be in Washington, it's just posturing by Boeing. SC hasn't worked well for them, and they should have learned their lesson with the whole Dreamliner fiasco.

Really speaks to the value of IAM representation.
Actually, it speaks to the value of electing the right people to represent you at the table.

Going the other way, it speaks to the value of labor leadership listening to what their constituents want, and acting accordingly.

I take great joy knowing Boeing is battling the IAM hard and is taking Machinsts jobs and moving them to right to work states.

As a direct result of these current talks? That hasn't happened yet...

considering they are adding some sort of engine cowl or somthing plant there I find that hard to believe.

No they are adding a paint hangar.

Go Google what happened in SC, it was an Alenia plant and they failed Boeing so Boeing bought it from them.

There is a long history of the problems, that's why Boeing bought them.

And SC plant is behind schedule in producing Aircraft, and Boeing was found guilty of unfair labor practices by buying the SC plant and trying to break the union in WA, and forced the last strike to catch up with all the problems with the 787.

I think you're reaching there , they bought an Italian manufactor a few years ago and just leased almost 500 more acres there. Seems like they are quite happy there.

I guess what Boeing says and its actions dont sink into you?

They are building a paint hangar so they dont have to ferry planes to be painted.

And they bought out Alenia due to manufacturing problems

And boeing has been found guilty of Unfair Labor Practices dating back to 1940s and as current as the last strike.

again I fail to see where any of those issues have anything to do with their being in SC

IMO, they're also guilty of "economic terrorism" for essentially trying to blackmail the citizens of Washington state.
I don't disagree Kev though the list of guilty of that is long including businesses and pro sports owners.
