You invite someone to sleep on your couch for awhile because they’re “temporarily” down on their luck and each time you ask them when they’re leaving they keep giving you a sob story.
Eventually you need to change the locks to get them out and then they call the Police to say that they live there.
This is a big Liberal Democratic problem you hear about in NYC all the time. Someone stops paying the rent and it takes you a year or more to evict their asses.
