I was in EWR the day the Panthers played the Giants. Their A/C was parked next to ours, it was A321. My crew and I went over to the plane to see how they were catering it as the team was going to be there in about 30 minutes. I asked their rep on board if they preferred an A321 over a 757 and he said yes, due to it being newer and alittle larger.

N109UW, would you mind sharing with us a little info on what the planned catering was like ? Years ago when LGA actually had Sports Charters and we worked many the catering was very impressive, just curious how much that has been reduced like everything else in the industry, not just US ? Also this is just speculation on my part but I would think one other reason the Panthers prefer the 321 is the 26F seats !

They drink all differant kinds of sodas and have a lot of candy and snack and nice sandwhiches on the short haul flights, not sure about the long haul food.

If the company was smart, and if one or both these teams make the Super Bowl, they should paint a plane in each of the team's colors. You can't buy the amount of publicity this would get. Would be a very savvy move for the marketing department.

What is this marketing department you guys keep speaking of! I have yet to see any real evidence suggesting there is, or ever was one.

Would not have enough time to design, schedule and paint a/c from the time the game is over to the time the a/c would be needed for the charter.
