ALL ABOARD!
Soaring to Seattle ...

On Saturday morning, US Airways flight 9094 will depart from Charlotte/Douglas International Airport with about 110 passengers, 9,000 pounds of equipment and the city's dreams of a date with the Super Bowl.
Before the Carolina Panthers play any road game, they have to get there. And for that, they depend on a chartered US Airways flight.
As part of the Panthers' contract with the airline, the team enjoys one of US Airways' biggest and newest planes, eats bigger meals than commercial passengers and watches (depending on taste) better movies.
The man in charge of it all for US Airways, which has its biggest hub in Charlotte, is Jim MacDonald. This week has been a whirlwind for the 39-year-old, whose regular job is managing all of US Airways' baggage handlers and catering workers in Charlotte.
