Exactly, its about who holds the purse.  
 
Frankly, I don't care who runs the airport authority... provided whoever it is fixes the DAMM ELEVATORS, MOVING SIDEWALKS, and the ESCALATORS.   WHY THE HELL ARE THEY ALWAYS BROKEN!!?? 🙂

I know your post was mostly in jest, but the airport employees care who runs the looney bin.... Just like in airline mergers, you never know what can happen when someone else takes over....
