Well since you sound so GD in the know about what this thread is about why don't YOU spell it out for us since the OP seems to have troubles with clarifying the meaning. I have never read something so ridiculous and vague. Can ANYONE explain what this is about? Mods why is THIS thread not closed without any usefull information? We were out of RSVs last week in LGA.

I haven't torn any refuse bags but they are very thin.

I have been banged around in turbulence a lot and have lots of bruises...I swear it's not my BF but some people don't believe me.

Is Gloria Holtz a real person. I want her to teach me how to do Sudoku.

I only fly on US for work...I haven't non-reved on US in years. Is that sad or what?

1. Everyone that I have seen in the new uniform has looked really nice and I have made sure to tell them when they do. (I think everyone around here could use a little compliment)

2. Haven't heard anything about being short...yet!!

3. Haven't torn any garbage bags (refuse bags..lol) but I did have 2 in my hand the other day and got totally confused by this and when I went to throw away a full cup I missed both bags and it ended up on my shoe.

4. No but I always try to be aware of the Oh $h!t handle just in case.

5. Haven't seen Gloria but I did hear that she was spotted in the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport drinking a Yuengling and sporting a Big Blue BOW that she was using on her flat ironed hair. Shortly after that she was seen motoring at full speed through the Mobile airport with a to-go box from Arthur Treacher's. I can also report that her stomach isn't what it used to be and that Arthur Treacher's had a bad batch of hush puppies and this may be the reason that there are rumors of her sitting on the pot in the B6 women's bathroom in PHL for the last 2 days. All speculation of course.

IMO, I'm just saying it stinks of past jabs of the CLT base. Don't get all defensive on me dear. I put in plenty of years in various northeast cities and I loved every minute of it, but it APPEARS that there are a few that love to get into the north vs south thing and IMO that appears that what the original poster had in mind, whether it be against CLT, the base, the city, or both. I live in CLT for the weather, laugh off the southern accents, but have NEVER since the "80's seen big bows in CLT. BELIEVE ME, I have heard far less talk about those damn yankees from the north in my day to day dealings than I see of jabs to Charlotte and southerners on these boards.

Perhaps the original poster could clarify what he/she was trying, but obviously failed to say.

Oh, please, the merger was 19 years ago. Get over it. I was born in the North, got hired by Piedmont and was "down South for 5 years," then ended up back up North. I still have my payroll number that says I was originally Piedmont--who knows WHY we got those new numbers on our IDs----and no one says anything. Most of us are past that and you BELIEVE ME darlin' you need to get a thicker skin.
I'm sure the original poster gets up in the morning, reads this thread and LHAO because it's caused so much confusion and is still open.

Ok---Let's talk about those new cheap THIN cups.....I used to be able to hold two in one hand and pour....now if you squeeze them at all, I'm afraid they will collapse inward. I also have to tell pax not to squeeze the cup when I hand it to them because they get liquid all over them the cups are so flimsy. CHEAP,CHEAP, CHEAP !!!!!!!!!! Wonder what Gloria thinks of that ???

Don't get thicker skin mixed up with your desire to start a pissing match. I have no issues with anyone. I was stating that there have been many threads started putting down Charlotte and they always come from those well intended know it alls on this board who are always trying to put down the CLT base. I never mentioned Piedmont OR the merger!!. Put down your cocktail. It's only 9 am. . If you haven't seen it time again, then you are blind. I could care less about the merger of the past or now.You are looking for a fight. Go get another cocktail and "stew" in it because it stops here. With that I will stop before I say something that needs to be said to you but will just get me banned for a week.
