Company says it will not entertain parity

If you would just shut up for 10 minutes and go back and read the threads you have started, you just might see the pattern. They are venomus, victimized, and angry. A trip to the cornfield only emboldened your resolve to be a ahole to everyone. Forget slants. My beef with you is that you say the same thing over and over and over, contributing nothing but hate. You are a one topic poster. How sad to see that you are actually living the stereotypes you and so many try to run from.

Simply not true and you can not hide your slanted views plain and simple!! You and DTTB fail to realize that every opportunity was given to your pilot group to work out a solution and only now after the fact are they remotly interested. Is that the sense of fair play that you and your fellow easties speak of???

You attack everything I post yet when moronic moves like this law suit which will only cost east pilots in the end get posted you say nothing!! Why?? Because your views are slanted. You don't know me and are not qualified to pass judgement as to my likes and or dislikes!! Hatred you say? I hate NO ONE!!

You too have no dog in the pilots fight!! You are a flight attendant not a pilot!! You do not belong to ALPA nor do you know our constitutions and bylaws!! You are AFA and you really need to focus your energy in cleaning up that joke of a union!! The next time you decide to preach to me about ALPA policies, proceedures and politics you should read them first and be well informed prior to commenting.

It is kind of ironic to hear an eastside employee complain about AWA pilots being unreasoable. That's rich...The silence you are referencing is the genral reluctance of the west to engage in unproductive infighting/bickering. At times I have trouble resisting so I throw my .02 in.

Are you a pilot? Are you married to one? The east tried their very best to decimate the careers of 80%+ of the AWA pilots. It didn't work and now you guys/gals cry foul and want to suddenly negotiate. Those days are over, we spent two years and a million dollars negotiating. One of the most respected Arbitrators in the nation ruled and now we all have to live with the award.

The only thing the east can do to improve their situation is to negotiate a decent contract. They certainly have the right to delay delay delay out of anger but takes money directly out of AAA pilots' pockets. But heck it's a free country they certainly have the right to work for less than EVERY other legacy pilot in the industry if they want.

"BULLOCKS" :down:

Hatred of women, what??? Ok it's late out here too and you are not making sense.

Hey AWA320..I FOr One Can Not Wait To Fly With YOur A@@!! Or Should I Say..You Should STAY In PHX!! Eye Drops Anyone!!!!! 😛

funny... but its still a federal crime. Grow up.

And they certainly know about drunks out there in the desert:http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/08/05/national/main517526.shtml

It could be worse, it could be you IN the drink, but I won't even bring that up. <_< <_<

Barberpole,

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that Mr Nicholau has been removed from the list of Arbitrators approved by ALPA National. Does this seem logical for such a respected Arbitrator?

As to the pay issue, you Westies seem hungry for a new contract with pay raises. The East wants to keep their upgrades from attrition. Which by the way is another avenue for getting a payraise and does not need to be negotiated. It appears that there are 2 different way to skin the Cat...

Working for less has always been the AWA way of life. Maybe you will have some luck with changing your status in SECTION 6.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Mr. Nicholau is retiring.

I suppose that if you're fully in the minority...it's perhaps felt necessary to try the bluffing game, or any/all other desperate approaches

You mean like the way the East is "fully in the minority" within ALPA? Is this why they feel it is necessary to bluff and use desperate approaches like frivolous law suits and threats of decertification?

...but you're going to be a force to be reckoned with against superior numbers out east?..and in other threads "Shove the award down their throats"????

You mean the way you're going to be a "force to be reckoned with" against superior numbers within ALPA?.. and in other words shove your will down the throats of others???

Hmmmmm... I think the word hypocrite comes to mind. Does anyone else here see the double standards?

Progress on pay increase talks will be discussed in"closed" session by the MEC on July 12 & 13.

Well, we don't need to wait until the end of the week for the East spin on that.

Doug says no to even the idea of discussing East parity outside of the JNC process. Watch the latest Crew News posted today.

So now I guess you will argue about what the definition of "no" really is.

I can't find ANY information to back up your statement regarding parity. Since you are not "OFFICIAL", we'll have to wait and see if the company is really that stupid.

Some facts:
*There will be no new joint contract.
*The cards are out for the vote to replace ALPA.
*The Nic award is DEAD.
*We're checking out Captains as fast as we can train them.
*Without equal pay, there won't be enough of this company left to sell.

See you at Net Jets.

And now for a bit of reality:
• There WILL be a joint contract. Your senior guys will sell you out. Its inevitable.
• You easties couldn't do anything in unity to save your lives. ALPA will remain the CBA.
• The Nic award is very much alive and waiting for your senior guys to sell you out.
• And so will we be training Captains.
• The company has given you the "sit and spin" on your parity.

And AWA320 is more official than you think. You should hear something from Jack very soon.

Just an FYI.

It is official and public.

Scott Kirby, in CLT, made it known that the company would not entertain any sort of parity for the east.

Its over for your equal pay BS.

So AWA320 is management huh? Mighty combative for management. They are usually more diplomatic.

No big surprise there.

THIS THREAD SHOULD BE A WARNING TO ALL OTHER PILOT GROUPS.

STAY AWAY FROM ANY MERGERS!!!!!!!!!!!

AWA would have been better off picking up the pieces in a liquidation sale.
