What's new

Congrats Michael Sam!

I've seen many babies, children and teens at gay pride parades. Families of all ages and sizes.

And again, folks, be careful about the word "deviant." Glass houses, and all that, you know
Thanks for answering my question and showing who lives in a glass house. It is an agenda then.

PS YOU are the one who first used the word DEVIANT. But then again other than vanity, you have no reason to look in the mirror!

Why wouldnt/shouldn't someone be proud of who they are? His actions hurt no one. What concerned is it of yours?

WTF re you talking about? My coming into this conversation is his/her referring that even heterosexuals are deviants. I don't give a rat's @$$ what anybody does with their lives. Doesn't mean I want to hear about it.

So go ahead and continue to twist arguments, and look in the mirror while your at it.

That is the problem with gays. They are not content to keep it in the bedroom. They must ANNOUNCE they are gay. Everyone must know. They call it having pride but really it only serves to draw the attention they so crave and to push their agenda.

I'm proud to be gay. It's not the most important part of me, but it is part of what makes me, well, me.

There are people here who would prefer that I be ashamed?

Funny, I don't participate in parades advertising I like head or doggy style.....WTF's with the gay ' tell all comers I'm gay ' shiit?

Latent guilt complex?

Drawing attention  to ones plight kind of goes hand in hand with gaining equality.  If no one knows there is a problem, kind of hard to fix it.

I think they would just prefer you shut up and deal with your rights being violated with out them having to hear about it.  Similar to the way lots of white felt about blacks. No reason to sit in dinners or the front of busses.  No reason to march or set up protests.  Just do it quietly.  Is that so much to ask for?

There are people on here that would prefer you keep your private life to yourself.

That is pretty much exactly how I feel about it.

When you've been told for centuries what you are is shameful, it is natural to be celebrate it when you can now be proud of it.

And again, protests and legal battles tend to require putting it all out there for people to respond.

Excellent way to make someone feel that something in their private life is shameful.

Not surprising that the two of you would equate sexual positions and parades with equality in regards to marriage, survival rights. and everything else that heteros take for granted.
