Congrats Michael Sam!

Hopefully this will encourage the no-doubt numerous closeted-gay athletes not to be secretive about it anymore, and before you know it, it'll be no big thing. Can't we all agree that is something all of us would like?
No. We cannot agree.

AdAstraPerAspera you are just a typical libtard pushing your gay agenda of normalizing homosexuality.

Picked or "placed"?

The NFL was going to make sure he got drafted, in order to keep the left quiet!

Now let's see if we get the "Tebow Media Circus" on board, to the point where the Rams pass him like a hot potato!

Exactly.

Oh, by the way, I don't care if he's green or gay. Just play and leave the things that belong in the bedroom, in the bedroom.

What you are seeing is the gay's attempt to desensitize you.

Sure, I'll be happy for him, when everyone gives players #248, #250, #251, #252, #253, #254, #255, and #256 equal time and happiness...

Turning a mediocre player into the latest cause celebre is exactly the type of distraction and sideshow that the league and other players probably would prefer didn't happen.
Did all the players receive the same attention that Jackie Robinson received?  Come to think of it I bet they are pretty glad they did not, from what I have read he had a pretty hard time of it.  How about Clifton and Lloyd in the NBA?  Probably not huh?

As I said earlier, the various teams and leagues have brought it on them selves.  Had the racial and sexual barriers not been in place in the first place, none of this would be an issue.  As it is, this is a mile stone for the gay community and they are happy about it.

Whether the Miami player is under contract with the NFL, or is selling hotdogs on the street corner or posting on these forums, the libtard PC movement "WILL" reprimand him one way or another, for expressing his freedom of speech.

All the NFL did was pander to the PC crowd!

Or they just held him to his contract.  Go figure.  he NFL does not want someone ho hates to be out there representing the team/league.  He is more than welcome to quit and go put and speak his mind.  All up to him.

It's already a sideshow -- they chose to come out to the podium and announce Sam's selection by the Rams, something they didn't do for picks #241 thru 248, or for picks 250 thru 256...

Desensitization

Had he gone undrafted, the NFL would have certainly had some 'splaining to do.
Jamming

Conversion

Wait.............doesn't he have a union to save him?
Did the NFL violate his contract?  If not the union cant do squat.

So you are comfortable when a company denies freedom of speech as long as it fits your narrative.
What's a commie? I never called anyone a commie. Starting to make #### up to fit your agenda?
That's why you suck. If you have no argument, you deflect and/or outright 'lie'!

Freedom of speech is a constitutional issue, not a corporate one.  So far as I am aware, the COTUS does not guarantee and employee free speech.  Were that the case I would still be employed by AA.

Do you retain the right to fire your employees if they tell your customers they are pieces of crap? (Freedom of speech)
Good point.  What if he hires a white supremacist who ends up making a pejorative comment against one of your clients.  Do you fire him or let him continue to work for you?

Not quite as easy as you hillbillies believe.
I have city, county, state and Fed laws.
Chew on that #### for awhile.
Open your own business and then cast the first stone.
Not sure what state you live in but are you saying you cannot fire an employee for cause?  I know in a right to work state you can be terminated for any reason your employer wants, real or imagined.  So long as your constitutional rights are not violated your ass can be gone at any time.

I have a hard time believing that should an employee violate a company policy (insulting a customer) that the state/city/county would prevent you from terminating such an employee.

Actually agree with that.  Eventually no one will care, there will be no more restrictions against homosexuals and people will find another group of people to direct their hate and animus toward.

Given the number of states that have legalized marriage equality with in the last few years I would say the plan is working very very well.

Not going to happen. I'm tired of ads that want me to tell my Dr what prescription to take and all the side effects a 1000 times, Pfizer can choke on their drugs as far as I am concerned. I'm sick of hearing about it.

The same goes with the agenda. Just play ball. What you do with balls, that's your business.
