I look at the wanted ads every now and then for the sole purpose of seeing how industry and the economy is doing in my community. What better way to know how the local economy is REALLY doing than looking at the wanted ads. 
 
I happen to notice this job posting by ConocoPhillips. Not sure what the pay is like but it is an oil company so they definitely can afford to pay well. For those of you unhappy with TULE life maybe this would be a good alternative.

Commercial aviation is still fun.

Clearly, not everyone enjoys working at an airline as much as they used to, but the ones I come across the most aren't in it for the money as much as they are for the industry.
