Everyone remember abotu a year or two ago when US hired some consulting firm to look at the operation? Supposedly once it was completed the results would be shared with the Company. I saw one issue of About US with the Flight Attendants part of the operation, but that was it. Did I miss the rest or did US blow off one more thing?

The consultants probably came back and said the operation would function perfectly well with the front line employees if only they had some effective leadership in Tempe. Parker then shredded it.

No kidding! They have thousands of "consultants" available at no charge, however, accrording to Tempe, we could't possibly know anything. While Parker, Kirby et al were flipping burgers, we were working for this carrier. Amazing!

So does anyone actually know?

The result was the appointment of Robert Isom to COO.
The consultants determined that while senior management was out shopping at the consolidation supermarket, no one was home babysitting the operation.

They had to hire a Consultant? I guess the "How to Run an Airline for Dummies" was not in press yet. 😱
