If you're a good manager, you'll find another job even if the company you work for is a basket case. And being a CEO is nothing more than being a good manager.
I suspect very few high profile CEOs actually get a second gig. But one who has been thru a bankruptcy? You bet they're in demand. Even if the outcome is failure, the fact they've been in a lead role thru the process is still valuable experience to learn from.
That, is probably, the most concise explanation of AA's, and quite a lot of US businesses, single biggest problem...
