Spot prices for jet fuel have dropped below $2.30 a gallon. A year ago this time, airlines were looking at spot prices over $2.90 a gallon. For a point of reference, each penny drop in jet fuel prices saves American Airlines Group about $44 million and Southwest Airlines about $18 million annually.

No hedging for US and i believe AA so as long as oil prices drop and company makes huge profits id guess the profit sharing would go higher for those that get it?
