We are extremely pleased with the decision of our employees to willingly support the Company's restructuring plan and we applaud them for sharing in the sacrifices necessary to restore our Company to financial health, said Jerry A. Glass, US Airways senior vice president of employee relations. We also appreciate the efforts of the CWA leadership during this difficult period.

Nice to see that cooler heads prevailed and that the majority saw this as the best chance for a better future. Let's hope the IAM does the same and you folks can move on to the next phase of your restructure.

I'm not so sure the yes votes were all to save thousands of jobs and the company. More like 20.05/hr while I find another job. Clearly, the writing is on the wall for res and ato agents.
