Oh Boy....One time in two weeks..and in one particular city , that makes it conclussive , now doesn't it?

Maybe this Mechanic in DCA saw a need...and being a professional stepped up and did what was needed? This isolated instance..or even a series of isolated instances does not change what is taking place here.

In the first BK, Mechs still pushed at CLT, DCA, LGA, PHL and PIT, after the latest final offer no more mechanics pushing airplanes.

One of our mech was performing the push back.

If thats the case there should be an ex wing walker also.

Official cut-over date at least at LGA is April 1. That is for ALL recieving,Dispatching, and airstarts. In the meantime, mechanics are asked to assist,help, and teach where needed , if available to assist.

Spoke with someone on DCA today, it was a mechanic driving the tug and his wing walker was a newhire fleet service. The lav truck had pulled up to service the aft lav and the wing walker waved the aircraft back. I guess they forgot to teach them that at school.
