Keep in mind that the ACLU does not make law, it only brings cases to court and asks that the law be applied. Secondly, the ACLU has fought for numerous conservative causes as well.

Yes and that was what your mother did. If your father was not in pain then it's not a big deal. My mother was in sever pain and was starving to death. The hospice allowed her to go without pain but at a higher cost to the insurance company and this to all who pay insurance.

Republicans are the ones who vote against patients rights and their right to die on their own terms. Republicans are the ones who constantly impose their morality on others.

Morality is fluid. It is based on POV and environment. At one point and time it was moral to own another human being, segregate the people based on gender, race and religion just to name a few. What is moral has changed. Most people do not think it is moral to make another human being suffer needlessly when they have chosen to die with dignity. There are many in the health care profession who agree with this but are prevented by law from helping people die on their own terms because of people like you who think you are the sole dictator or what is moral and what is not.

As far as I am concerned you can take your morality and shove it where the sun does not shine. At least then your head will have some company.

The reason I, nor anyone else for that matter ever heard him say these things is because he, nor anyone else (aside from the right wing idiots and their followers) ever said these things.

OH, I found them. Just wanted to see if you would come clean or continue your lies. The Obama quote is taken so far out of context as to be funny. It does not even come close to meaning what you want it to mean.


Obama was talking about families needing better information so that they are not making decisions which are not in their best interest or in the interest of the patient. He was addressing procedures and drugs that would not necessarily prolong life or increase quality of life and that in some cases it may be better for the patient to pass on the surgery and take the pain killers instead.


He gave an example of his grand mother who fell and broke her him. Having her hip replaced at her age would have made the hospital and doctor a butt load of cash butt would not have added to her quality of life. So passed on the surgery.


This is just one example. Had you bothered to research the comment you might have found this out on your own but since you and South do not believe in research but rather in throwing crap against the wall to see what stick, this is the type of BS lies that you end up posting.
