It's still Bush's fault, say the ones that can't assume responsibility for their own actions.

Can you find me a politician that has accepted responsibility for anything bad that happened under their admin.

"Sit Down and Write Two Letters."

Later, his successor, Leonid Brezhnev, upon taking office found the two letters and a note Khrushchev had attached:

"To my successor: When you find yourself in a hopeless situation which you cannot escape, open the first letter, and it will save you. Later, when you again find yourself in a hopeless situation from which you cannot escape, open the second letter."
And soon enough, Brezhnev found himself in a situation which he couldn't get himself out of, and in desperation he tore open the first letter. It said simply, "Blame it all on me." This Brezhnev did, blaming Khrushchev for the latest problems, and it worked like a miracle, saving him and extending his career. However, in due time Brezhnev found himself in another disaster from which he could not extricate himself. Without despairing he eagerly searched his office and found the second letter, which he tore open desperate for its words of salvation. It read thus:

"Sit down, and write two letters."
😛 Same Ole Same Ole...

Ha. I found the envelope in my new desk with those letters. I have yet to open the first.

Pray for me xUT.

House Session June 9, 2004

EVEN IN TIMES OF FAILURE AND DISAPPOINTMENT, PRESIDENT REAGAN STOOD TALL AND HE WON THE RESPECT OF ALL, FOLLOWING THE DISASTER AT THE MARINE BARRACKS IN LEBANON AND THE IRAN-CONTRA SCANDAL, PRESIDENT REAGAN ACCEPTED RESPONSIBILITY SAYING, QUOTE, THIS HAPPENED ON MY WATCH AND IF THERE'S TO BE BLAME IT PROPERLY RESTS HERE IN THIS OFFICE.
AND I ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE BAD AS WELL AS THE GOOD, THAT WAS A QUOTE FROM PRESIDENT REAGAN.

Bush: 'I take responsibility' for federal failures after Katrina

September 13, 2005

That work for you?

And that is why he has held the FBI from going into Benghazi?
Because he doesn't have a buck?

He never accepted responsibility....it was that damned video.

Hate to say it, but Romney is dominating this debate. Cant speak to the veracity of all he is saying but he is coming across better. Too bad this debate is on so late. Past my bedtime!

Guess i'll have to rely on the mainstream liberal media to spin it for me in the morning. of course, i'll balance that with what you geniuses think!

Wow.... I know I'm biased, but Romney clearly had answers people had been asking for.

Looks like Obama had more speaking time, but Romney actually had some substance to what he said.

Obama spent 90 minutes making excuses for the past four years, and just promised to work just as hard in the next four... No thanks.

Romney looked at Obama while he was speaking, Obama faced the camera, the moderator, or his notes. Rarely looked at Romney. Shows his true character...

The moderator? Worthless. Time to retire, Jim. The candidates ignored you.

Paraphrased from Romney -- "In one year, you gave $90B for creating green jobs. That would have paid for 2 million teachers"

I'd have to say at this point Romney, as pointed out by two other posters, had the command of the debate by following up on many of Obama's falsehoods and maintaining his demeanor.

With that said, its obvious Obama won the debate.
