Most of the new contract is probably what you see But like you say, there will be another bite at the apple, and hopefully a chance to fix a few (a few!) of things needing improment on the US Airways side ( maybe some tweaks to some of the insurance programs comes to mind.) This is better than anything we could ever get stand alone. Keep your fingers crossed. We are not quite there yet! Have you seen the "flight plan" document yet, just put out by the NAC?Greeter

Reminds me of that idiot Doug Mowery who brought us LOA93, this is not much better but hey if you like it vote for it. Well I will also thank Bill McKee for what he did to get a little extra that Hummel did not want to try for. I know it will pass big time this pilot group would have settled for one grand and a box of pop tarts.

Ok, boys and girls......take a step back and breath a deep breath.

From what I was told by a rep is that the MOU does not even address any kind of SLI, which was put on the back burner by all parties involved with developing the MOU.

So, you guys can argue till the cows come home, but the bottom line is that AFTER the merger is announced, and the MOU is put in place, then the real war about SLI begins.

So at this point in the timeline, any argument about SLI is just your own opinion....that's all.

Try not to beat yourselves up too badly until we get to the real meat of the issue. That "meat" will probably be out of our hands anyway with M/B being in control.

Just enjoy the ride.

Lets review what this ride has for us - nothing but a stern warning from Silver about straying from the Nicolau without an LUP. We have no LUP. The west case has merit. We've been saying the Nicolau is dead for years and here we are again saying it disappears.

I'm afraid our ride isn't going to be so enjoyable. We've on,y enjoyed a Pyrrhic victory at best and I'm afraid that's as far as it goes for us.
