It saved your job.

Not true at all, and highly speculative.

It did however transfer his job to what is likely a more stable environment, if you remove the scab union out to steal his job from the picture, which was left up to AOL to do and succeed.

So, when is usapa going to publish the MOU results?

We need to know whether or not the MOU failed, and therefore the Nic is a certainty, or whether the MOU passed and the Nic is a certainty!

It saved your job. You really need to get a grip on your anger.

HA HA HA... You believe one thing Parker says and discounts another... What a trip.

So, if AWA was in such bad shape then I'm sure you can find SEC filings, newspaper articles circa 2005, etc. to substantiate your bu!!$hit.

Scooter, I've been reading your BS for years now. I'll take Parker's word over yours any day.
So when he has said several times that with out the merger us airways would have liquidated you believe him?

Parker never said AWA would liquidate. All he has said is that AWA may have filed bankruptcy without the merger.

So whose job got saved? Yours or mine?

Yes, I believed him when he said that US would have liquidated. How many time do we need to cover that. The merger save all our jobs, you are just mad that the Nic windfall hasn't paid off to keep you from taking any hits.

If US had liquidated, the other airlines would have quickly bought up the coveted slots and real estate. The pilots would have most certainly been hired by the other carriers. Yes, it would have been inconvenient. AWA would not have been far behind, only exactly what were the coveted slots and real estate that would have been offered by AWA? I doubt UA or AA or WN would have wanted to touch the cactus. So who would have been the biggest losers? I think it is safe to assume the airplanes would have been taken much like what seems to be happening at Frontier and by now AWA would be just another losing airline experiment lost to history. US always had more to offer. So don't be so cocky, you kids have a lot to learn about the history of US. There have been All American/allegheny/US planes flying in the sky daily since 1937. So America West had/has nothing by way of history or assets to offer. Just my 2 cents to the uninformed youngsters on the playground monkey bars.

LIke a say to my nieces all the time......... "Do you know what patience means?".

Another genius statement. Can I quote you on that?
Give it up. Let Cleardirect, Nic et al believe what they want.

We've bantered this around so much but everyone really knows the truth. It hasn't helped their argument so far.

PanAm To DL, Trump Shuttle to US.

In any case, if the US pilots with all of their vast levels of flight hours and experience would have had the edge in the application process. Plus they would have been on the street longer and would have had more job search time. AWA pilots with lower hours and piloting skill set may have had a harder time finding another flying job.

Unless CO would have merged with you. But by the time the CO people got a whiff of you guys they would have been SORRY to have got caught up in the mess that was dusty AWA.
