Anyone have any credible information about when the details and terms of the actual MOU will be released?

According to the Dallas Daily News:

"The NDA agreements, which had been set to expire Friday the 11th, now will go to the end of January, by which time the carriers are expected to make public their decision on a merger."

Additionally, AMR has requested another 20 day extension from the Bankruptcy Court, till 1 April, how ironic, April Fools Day!

So everybody just needs to take a "chill pill", we are not going to get a look at the MOU until after a merger decision announcement has been made, which at this time is planned for the end of January.

Can the CLT 3 keep their agreements and mouths shut that long? I don't think so. I think they'd rather go to jail than lose the FPL and bruise their megalomaniacal egos. Look at Cleary and his perfectly timed "mystery disability". Cut from the same cloth. ..I'm pretty sure insurance fraud can put someone in jail too. I thought I read that somewhere.

Seajay,

Just like they did not ask our opinion or permission for a merger they won't be in any hurry to let us know the details.
Have you been to DUB recently?

Regards,

Bob

Well that certainly is fishy. I'm not saying the guy is or isn't, but if USAPA has scabs in its upper ranks that would explain the Teamsters telling them to $%# off. Well......that and the trying to redo the arbitration thing🙂

Bean

The teamsters had Frank Lorenzo as a member. If memory serves me he was a shop steward. I'm sure they are proud of that.

Bob

From the scab list.
Ray, James A CAL 83 dob 9/16/59, 0030P

From the Us Airways seniority list.
62809 RAY J 09/16/59 08/06/84

Same guy. Unless there are two James Rays in the airline business with the same exact birth date and less than normal moral attitudes. One that would scab and one that would go back on his word for final and binding arbitration.

Now if you were a pilot at US Airways you would have known that James Ray admitted to being on the list. He "excuse" was that he did it for the greater good of the pilot profession. That he interviewed at CAL, accepted the job knowing there was a strike and that he would be on the scab list, finished training only to cost CAL money then left.

James Ray name is on that list for a reason. If it was a mistake I personally would be screaming bloody murder to get it off. The usapa spokesman admitted it was him. Not a lie. Just because you don't like the facts does not make them lies.

I ran into one of our reps today at work. USAPA and APA are anxious to get the MOU out with USAPA starting roadshows for discussion.

The holdup is in being able to release info with the NDA in effect. The NDA is an agreement amoungst the 5 groups involved with the MOU discussions, so all 5 parties have to agree to release the info.

Of the 5 parties, USAPA, APA, USAir management, AMR management, and the UCC, one party is holding up approval for the release of info......one party that is opposed to the merger. You guessed it....AMR management.
