Delta has always had a postive ring for me. I flew them a lot prior to working for AWA and then US Airways. As a customer of Delta I always had a positive image of them.

Delta has always had a postive ring for me. I flew them a lot prior to working for AWA and then US Airways. As a customer of Delta I always had a positive image of them.

As a jumpseater with them I always found their FA to be some of the friendlier in the air.. but thier pilots always wined when our crew hopped onto "their" hotel van.

Well, let me give it a try...

Since the airline is made up of a lot of airlines that have gone through bankruptcy or been acquired via merger, and since every time it seems like end is near, the airline somehow revives or reinvents itself, perhaps we should couple the concept of "rising from the ashes" with the location of the headquarters of the airline.

How about Phoenix? Phoenix, Phoenix Airlines, Phoenix Airways or some other derivative?
