Because, sweetheart, we a fine group of aviators. As soon as you serve me my first hot crew meal (compliments of Nostradamus) you'll realize how you could even ask such a question.

As for disposable, you in the east would know about that very well. You've been crapped on year after year and what do your piilots do to stop it? They sign off on LOA93.

And as for the splitting up of our company? Only the idiots believe that BS.

Stick to pouring diet sodas.

A good point. I'm thinking that keeping the Nic BS from ever seeing the light of day outside of Hell would be a good first step towards avoiding being "crapped on" even more. :up:

I work for Delta so I don't have a dog in the USAir fight but I too am concerned about the actions of ALPA National on this issue.

I don't know if the "east" or the "west" is right about the merits of the Nic award but I am deeply troubled by the EC's apparent power to simply ignore their own policies and procedures.

Regardless of what they do now, Prater and the EC have demonstrated pretty clearly to the pilots of Delta, United, NWA and everybody else that the merger policy's "binding" arbitration is not quite as binding as we all thought. Evidently, an independent arbitrator's decision is always open to "further review" by ALPA politicians. If they don't like the decision they can always schedule special meetings, call for talks, issue high minded resolutions, appoint Blue Ribbon committees to study the matter, etc. etc. etc. - and basically override the process - forever if they choose.

ALPA has no merger policy. At least not one that anybody will ever respect again.

Just remember YOUR salary is dependent in many many ways on just how well she pours that Diet Coke. The customers see and hear her, not you.

It takes great skill to be an airline pilot. It takes an even greater skill to know when to STFU. One skill you clearly possess, the other is less apparent.

And once again this is not your business Mr. customer!!! Yous is to pay your fare get good service and enjoy your trip, this rift between pilot groups and in this case between a west male pilot and an east MALE flight attendant is again not CUSTOMER BUSINESS!! Had you even read the post you would have noticed that PHLfa88 is a man!!

There is a reason why you are not allowed on the flight deck during flight, it's because you're are not employed as a pilot on either property Bob thus again since you seem to keep missing it our union business is not customer business therefore not YOUR business. Now you often have good things say on other subjects just not this one.

I know you did AWA, but the ALPA web is not opent to the public. If I posted there I would not want my posts copied to another board because you only see the one post, not the others that may have brought it on.

BTW, I had an AA pilot on the js the other night. He said he couldn't believe anything like the award would come from an arbitrator. He said Nic must have lost it.

I hear AWAPA is sending out cards. Know where I can get one?
 
Just for YOUR information I've made little if any comment on Nic as it will do no good.

As for your co-workers attitude towards F/A's and issues where you're messing with his.her attitude and in subsequently effects the quality of service I recieve then it does become my business OK and there was a cross post so I didn't know she was a male which doesn't change the condescending and arrogant attitude
Hey, if you've got issues with customer service, then deal with them.

As a customer, this stuff is none of your business and you don't need to come on these boards to deal with it.

Your self-asserted views in interests which are far beyond the scope of just being a frequent flyer is greatly received and appreciated by Stephan, the Chipster and the many oppressed and victimized USAir pilots. It's my business if I decide to make it my business. When your poisonous attitude sours the rest of the flight crew it becomes a Customer Relatons issue.

Customers see surly Flight Attendents and Gate Agents, what they don't see are the pompous self important arrgant types like you who help create the hostile work environment and in the end it's the customer who gets dumped on. Then US issues a voucher as compensation which impacts profit and thusly your profit sharing. So your attitude is really EVERYONES business as it affects everyone.

Like it or don't Customers pay your wages. Like I said in another thread, Doug may pick up your bar tab but it's the Customer who pays the frieght. The mere fact that I have a fare reciept for paid travel ensures that I may comment on any and all aspects of aviation. I bought the ticket and I'm staying through the whole movie 😛

PS: Please consider I was making a point about June. I hope you understand that it's certainly not a racist comment on my part. However I think it does point out his attitude towards everyone who isn't a AWA pilot.
Let's parse this one paragraph by paragraph.

First paragraph: Very racist no matter what your disclaimer. I hope those that read PineyBob's post are as outraged as I am.

Second paragraph: "You people" Yes, "you people" ie the passenger who's IQ maturity is directly proportional to the distance from his/her assigned seat. In other words, as the passenger gets closer to his seat, he/she becomes dumber and less mature.

Third paragraph: Means nothing to me. Thank god I have a reinforced door between you and me so I don't have to listen to you.

Fourth paragraph: Customers DO NOT pay my wages. America West pays my wages. And if you don't like the service, go elsewhere. But, through my years in this industry, I have learned that if you drop a fare a few dollars, you come running back (or never leave to begin with).

And your P.S. is B.S.

Now, go mind your own business.
