It's my business if I decide to make it my business. When your poisonous attitude sours the rest of the flight crew it becomes a Customer Relatons issue.

Customers see surly Flight Attendents and Gate Agents, what they don't see are the pompous self important arrgant types like you who help create the hostile work environment and in the end it's the customer who gets dumped on. Then US issues a voucher as compensation which impacts profit and thusly your profit sharing. So your attitude is really EVERYONES business as it affects everyone.

Like it or don't Customers pay your wages. Like I said in another thread, Doug may pick up your bar tab but it's the Customer who pays the frieght. The mere fact that I have a fare reciept for paid travel ensures that I may comment on any and all aspects of aviation. I bought the ticket and I'm staying through the whole movie 😛

PS: Please consider I was making a point about June. I hope you understand that it's certainly not a racist comment on my part. However I think it does point out his attitude towards everyone who isn't a AWA pilot.

I understand the moderators are very liberal with certain posters, but the context of your comments is certainly inappropriate and even if it remains on here it should not be allowed in a public forum. "America West pays my wages...." Ummm...and said wages magically come from a secret basement printing press in Tempe? I thought, apparently in error, that the revenue was generated from flying people and parcels around.

If you don't think the customers pay your way then ,you sir, are clearly need to return to Marketing 101 for an intense refresher course.

Customers like Piney help you buy your JetSki and IPod, we need more like him, but Dougweiser and the Tempe Mensa's are driving them away in droves.

If you look at some of the SEC filings, we do have other revenue streams.

That magical fairy is only one of them.
 
For June I think the shoe fits in regards to the remarks, He has shown nothing but disdain towards customers and co-workers. The same type of contempt and disdain shown in the tasteless part of my post. It was done to prove a point, not to offend.

IMO, he sees himself as the plantation owner and conducts himself accordingly. But if it REALLY bothers you that much and we as a society seek to censor every thought lest it may offend someone, somewhere, sometime then I'm afraid we have far bigger issues at hand than Customer Service, ALPA or Nicolau.

Parts of our society have already driven Howard Stern off the airwaves and like him or not, society is not any better with him on Sattelite.


Funny how some people get on here and spew venom like a cobra, then get all self-righteous at the first opportunity. Personally, I don't think it's smart to talk to customers the way some have on this thread. That IS where the paycheck comes from and this IS a customer oriented business (supposed to be) and we DO have to treat them with respect even when we don't agree.

Otherwise, go over to hauling frieght.

As I've said before, Piney doesn't write my checks. If he goes away, there will be someone else there to sit in his seat - for the right price.

And, by the profit we made, it doesn't look like anyone is going anywhere "in droves."
 
I know you did AWA, but the ALPA web is not opent to the public. If I posted there I would not want my posts copied to another board because you only see the one post, not the others that may have brought it on.

BTW, I had an AA pilot on the js the other night. He said he couldn't believe anything like the award would come from an arbitrator. He said Nic must have lost it.

I hear AWAPA is sending out cards. Know where I can get one?

For the record I will not do it again without it if it causes a problem. I will use some of you analogy though if you don't mind. Are internal mec comm private? The are sent to the pilot groups and not to the public however it appers that a certain east pilot who used to work for UAL keeps posting the very private comm!! Will there be an east effort to stop such actions by said pilot in the future???

With regards to an AA pilot making such a statement it really is a pot meet kettle don't you think??? Here they get Reno air all capts at reno go to the right seat, STAPLED and then the TWA thing at something like 5 to 1 or 7 to 1 in any event it was a hose job by AA twice!!!

The east doesn't even get crew meals anymore. What are they leading with LOA93?

Oh, sorry. A crew meal is food the pilots get from catering. We eat it on the airplane.

I guess we will skip the crew meals and collect our pension.

Oh ,sorry. You don't have a pension. The rest of US get a pension at retirement.
 
Just for YOUR information I've made little if any comment on Nic as it will do no good.

As for your co-workers attitude towards F/A's and issues where you're messing with his.her attitude and in subsequently effects the quality of service I recieve then it does become my business OK and there was a cross post so I didn't know she was a male which doesn't change the condescending and arrogant attitude

Nice attempt, you get an a for effort in that one. I seriously doubt that anything said on this forum follows any of us into the work place!! I certainly don't go drilling holes in the sky pissed off about some post on USAviation. If you get bad service from any employee there are measures that you can take as a customer to handle such so again the rift between labor groups is not customer business.

Now with regards to the term "you people", I wasn't part of that debate you had however I am guilty of using said term. When I use/used it I was refering to ALL east employees and had no racial conotation what so ever. One such east f/a even brought my deceased grandmother into the debate and while this f/a knows a very small aspect of racial make up it is just that very small!!! In the future I will use a different term all together, maybe "you guys" something other than "you people".
