What seniority system does Delta use for its ramp employees? At USAir, we have three different systems and we will possibly be adding another when America West finally joins us

You gotta be kidding!! Three systems? What the hell for?
DL has one list on the ramp as far as I know.

Everytime we had a new ceo, they changed the system for those that were hired during their reign. But for those hired before their reign, they left the seniority system as it was, thus giving us three different seniority systems. Then to top that, when the stupid ass iam was somehow voted in, they could have fixed the problem but refused too! But they won't give a reason why they refused too.

Its all strickly by hire date for bidding shifts, vacation, requesting holidays off etc. You lost nothing when you transfer. Does US still have that? I know they did many, many years ago. You lost something like half yours seniority when you transfered.

Sometimes your pay date is adjustded when youn transfer from another department outside of ACS. You get credit for half the time but again that's just for the payscale.
