Someone better get the GOP back together again. having just R/D was bad enough. A one party system is not going to be good for this country.
Something is very wrong when you have the most unpopular president not saying a thing for his party. The most unpopular vice-president talking down about a decorated and popular general but talking up a talk show host. You also have the head of the RNC having to apologize to a talk show host because some feathers got ruffled. Even when the dems were in the minority they did not have these issues to deal with.
I thought it was funny that Cheney said the party should not become less conservative (or words to that effect). The country as a whole is moving toward the center. The dems figured that out. If the RNC follows the advise of Cheney and Limbaugh, there will be a party with very few people showing up.
