DL is committing to a multi-billion dollar rebuild of SLC, providing evidence that the hub will remain part of DL's system.

Funny there is NOTHING in the article saying Delta supports this.

according to this article they are:
[background=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.898438)]"We have a great partnership with the airlines that serve SLC. Delta, the airport’s largest user, is very supportive of the terminal redevelopment project, as are other airlines. It’s rare for airports and airlines to be in close agreement on major projects like this."[/background]

I was there yesterday talking to the chief pilot about the new terminal.Who do you think is the driving force about this terminal? Only the largest tenant and I guess you know who that is.By the way it involves concourses E D and C all Delta concourses undecided what happens to B where WN and UAL are.A is to be torn down. Funny how incomplete some journalist are when writing these kind of stories.By the way this has been in the planning for more then twenty years. The draw back is not about the hub but about the asbestos problem during tear down because they will not be able to use the connecting buildings. That is why the are planning to leave B untouched for now.
